Similar animation (both are by Madhouse) and both have got high technology.
Dennou Coil is a show that shares many common themes with some other sci-fi works I watched previously. From those, the most similar one has to be Summer Wars, Steins;Gate or Serial Experiments Lain. But for now, I will be focusing exclusively on Summer Wars. Laster on I will probably create a recommendation for the rest.
