Both are mecha animes with very intense epic battles, the story plot between the two are both similar in a way to how they both want to make the world a better place and to become successfull in doing so. Theres quite a bit of mecha action and dramatic suspense with romance here and there, with some comedy to lighten up the moods. Very good animes overall.

These anime are both really over the top mecha and to be fully appreciated require the viewer's suspension of disbelief. Highly enjoyable and compelling.

Both being mecha themed stories with alot of chaotic action in them as well as also a lot of unbeliavble art in the story and some really nice to look at art,visuals and animation that still holds up really well to this day.
