Both titles have a very similliar plot and probably differ only in setting. Basicly - Panty & Stocking is Dirty Pair Flash with less of a clear storyline set in 21st century with various evil powers instead of miscelaneous criminals. I wonder how Gainax got off with that.
Still, somehow PSG is more entertaining and fun to watch.
