Both anime have memory loss as a major part of their plot. The characters are quite similar as well, as you have the person who loses their memories and two close friends inflicted from that problem. A difference is that you don't see Fujimiya crying after her memory loss in every episode like a certain someone *cough*Mr.Banri*cough*

Those anime is same tell a story about how to make a great relationship with friends, even when main character has been suffered to forget anything in past.

Two series that reaffirm the friendship by means of several tests that will make them more united. Where our protagonist lives with the fear of forgetting all those pleasant moments with his friends and especially that person who helped him with his problem. This protagonist suffers from amnesia, and from the moment he meets that person, he wants to live the life that I wanted to live from the beginning, without fear of forgetting everything.

- Main Character dealing with a form of amnesia that drives the story and characters - A story about love and friendship - One Week Friends is more cute and warm, Golden Time tries its best to keep it realistic

Both anime has similarities like: ✓ main characters suffers "memory loss" cause by accident ✓school setting ✓with a touch of romance (In golden time is more mature) If you're looking for great and unique story of friendship, you should give this a shot :D enjoy!

In both of the anime, the protagonist has to deal with the lost memory. In Golden Time the MC loses his memory till High school and in Isshukan Friends the love interest of MC loses her memory every week. The settings are different and how the people deal with each other are different, though. But when I was watching Golden TIme, I couldn't but reminisce about Isshukan Friends. That's why I ended up making this recommendation.
