While not necessarily following the same premise, both of these series adapts a supernatural/super power theme that comes into play many times in each episode.
The main male protagonist from both series is a calculating individual who is independent, badass, and somewhat cold towards others. Yet, he does care quite a bit of his comrades as well as the people he works for.
Both series has action, drama, some comedy, and also some emotional moments.
Both series' main character also has a troubled past that seemingly made them the person they are as of today.
