Both these titles are about acquiring items, either by stealing (Lupin III) or by archeology (Montana Jones). The episodes are pretty much stand alone, with the characters having adventures in different parts of the world. The main character team consists of the some males, and a female (who can be actually useful if she wants).
There is also an antagonist who shows up in almost every episode. His name starts with Z. However, Zenigata in Lupin III is on the side of law and order, and Dr. Zero on the opposite side.
If found these titles quite enjoyable as episodic adventure stories.
