Every leader needs an Op strategist and neither Arslan nor Kingdom is different in this matter.In both anime an old kingdom fight with other kingdoms mc starts as lowest and try to rise in his career.Since Arslan is crown prince anime focuses about diplomacy , relationship of other kingdoms , alliances and religion fight kingdom focuses fights ranks and tactical battefield.
Both animes focus on wars between nations and the internal struggles within a nation, including traitors who are after power or the throne. In Arslan Senki the main character is the prince (king to be) himself, while in Kingdom the main character is a soldier who is aiming to become a general to the prince (king to be). Either way, both plots focus on making the prince into a King who rightfully belongs on the throne. If you liked Arslan Senki, "Kingdom" is a great recommendation.
This anime is amazing, a great story that it has for the moment two seasons with 38 and 39 respectively, for my opinion is better that Arslan Senki. This anime is about Shin and Hyou, they are two war-orphans in the kingdom of Qin. They dream of one day proving themselves on the battlefield and become the best general.
Suresly you will like this anime.
- Epic war stories where a young man of royal blood must fight to reclaijm his kingdom with the help pg his loyal and powerful companions.
- Both have Awesome War scenes and Fights.
Both shows share:
- historical moments in their story
- main hero that overcomes all betrays and backstabs
- an empire building plot
- realistic blood, violence and most of all - human greedy nature
Both historical and military themes. Kingdom depicts a great animation development in season 3 and awesome character progression. Expect a high morale boost and emotional sways making you immerse in the story.
For all history lovers:
While Kingdom clearly tells the prehistory of the first empire of China emergence's, Arslan also contains some historical details from Persian history. Starting with the main character.. but that's all I'll tell you. The Anime itself is good and you should definitely give it a look :)
