Both shows are featuring the characters playing basketball, but not the usual basketball, since their characters have their own kind of "super abilities". In both shows the characters have to face their past and inner-self issues in order to grow, move forward and also to understand and face their opponents in basketball. Both have funny, sad, and touching moments. Both have colorful, neat, and decent arts. If in Kuroko the players are boys, in Hana the players are girls.
Both shows are still highly recommended if you're new for basketball stuffs and only want to watch for character developments.
