Both animes involve cool powers and fighting, they also share the laid back lead and are both pretty funny.
I think that Blood Lad is a bit more hilarious with less epic fights than One Punch Man, but I've enjoyed both.
Blood Lad is a must watch if you like otaku humor, shonen and funny references to other anime. Sadly the anime only has 10 episodes. It's more a promotion for the manga with an open ending, but still worth watching.

A parody of battle shōnen anime describe both Blood Lad and One-Punch Man.
Both anime have a slightly similar art style. The style of comedy is very similar, and the vibes are almost the same. Blood Lad has ecchi and isn’t about superheroes, but fans of one need to check out the other!
