For Yuru Yuri and Kiniro Mosaic, the word "cute" comes to mind when describing each other. There is an all-female cast for both series that consists of cute girls doing cute things. They also follow a slice-of-life format rather than any direct storyline. It chronicles the girls' lives and what they do at home, school, and anywhere else.
In Kiniro Mosaic though, there's a diversity of nationalities while in Yuru Yuri, there's more of a sense of diversity in personalities. Nonetheless, both series are something to grab as they inspire smiles and joy.
Relaxing Slice of Life Comedy, Very Likable Characters, Very Cute Characters, Cute voices.
Slice of Life lovers and Moe Lovers will love it!
Besides being slice-of-life anime with more shoujo-ai overtones than your typical one, the characters and the sense of humor in both of these anime is rather similiar.
Both have subtle hints of Yuri in them, and aren't ever all that intense. However, Kiniro Mosaic mostly just hints at it, while Yuru Yuri makes it more obvious. Both adorable and well worth a watch, especially if you're new to Yuri and want a few relaxed shows to watch.
Both have a cast of cute schoolgirls and "implied" romance between the girls, though this is more so in Yuru Yuri. Both are lighthearted comedy, SoL anime without a plot.
So you like cute girls? How about inexplicit lesbian relationships? So how about cute girls in inexplicit lesbian relationships? Well if you do then you're in luck since that's pretty much what most "cute girls life" shows boil down to. I mean, they don't really explain or delve into their semi-platonic relationship but lesbianest, it's obvious that they're passionately sprouting for one another.
These series are both fundamentally school-centric slice-of-life anime with a primary selling point being cute girls being cute and amusing. Both series also have the distinction of having some themes of romantic interest between their core cute girls, but it is to be noted that Yuru Yuri is to the point of Shoujo Ai, whereas Kiniro Mosaic has not achieved that status.

Basically, you have like a group of girls doing cute thing every day, with sudden punchlines thrown all around you. Not much is happening in both, but Yuru Yuri throws in a bit more comedy to spice things up. Mostly if you are into this cute girl subgenre, will you enjoy it!

Both shows are about a group of girls who pretty much just hang out and have a good time. The characters are very similar (one hyperactive, one tsundere, etc.), and there are yuri undertones in both. They both provide plenty of comedy and are sure to make you smile.
Featuring an all-girl cast, both of these anime revolve around a group of girls in school making the most of their life.
Both have a lot of elements of shoujo ai in them.
Both are very moe and adorable.

Cutesy Slice-of-life anime where gay girls have a gay ol' time and do cute things. YuruYuri is more upfront with its depiction of yuri, going as far as to even have it in its name. Kiniro Mosaic is more subliminal about it, with it being more of a homosexual subtext at first before spreading its wings and evolving into a stronger yuri form in its second season. Both shows feature an extremely shippable cast who overflow with so much moe it should be considered illegal. If you like one show, you're bound to like the other.
