If we exclude the *wierd* genre this is the craziest mainstream anime.
There are plot holes and characters do behave strangely but it is impossible to leave this series in between. I would definitely recommend this to people looking for romantic anime with overly attached girlfriend, same way I would recommend Higurashi to people looking for a cute kids show.
