Ef: A Tale of Memories, is definitely one of my favorite romance/drama series. Although short in episode length, it managed to put together two stories that coexist together. Instantly in episode one, I was drawn to the characters and the feelings that they similarly had. The emotional scenes hit hard, which is good, as that makes the scene more memorable. If the series was given more episodes to develop the characters more, I'm sure this story could have been a complete masterpiece, however, it was cut short due to its 12 episode length. That shouldn't turn you away from this anime however. I highly recommend
