Both shows are about the coexistence between humans and "monsters". They make you rethink and question your life for at least a week. I highly recommend both shows!!! In my opinion teh protagonists Shinichi and Ken are similar because they transition into a new life with new circumstances. They contain a lot of gore and violence in general so be prepared!!Lastly, I want to mention the psychological aspect, but ... I'd rather let you figure it out for yourself ... you will understand after watching.
