Well, that's how a certain conversation made me start to make a review for this... anyways, this anime is literally about Yuuta trying to "move on" from his 8th grader syndrome when Rikka appears out of nowhere and made him remind of his embarrasing past.
(I don't have anything particular on my mind so lets cut to the chase)
Story: 7
This anime points out at adolescent teenagers who still had to cling in their make-believe fantasy where most of the thing they believe on and see are different from ours. It's nothing complicated. As a slice-of-life genre, this doesn't require extensive research. An average plot for an average anime.
Art: 8
Usual Kyo-ani stuff, the art is vivid and colorful. Detailed and lively, it definitely catches the eye of the viewer. The animation itself is pretty well done as the "make-believe" fights are fluid and fast paced. However, I only graded this "8" because the drawings of the character are your usual, generic moe, which is not really my cup of tea.

Nothing special to mention, average op and ed song and are not unique in any way
Character: 8
This is the anime's strong point. The characters themselves are the solid foundation of the plot. Yuuta, who is trying to forget about his past and Rikka, who, unfortunately, keeps reminding him of his past, is a perfect blend of contrast and some of the scene where they are together are quite funny, Dekomori is a cheerful girl who is also affected by the 8th grader syndrome and Nibutani, an ojou-sama type of girl who's true character would be later revealed, everyone kept on their role strongly and are probably memorable.
Enjoyment: 3
Now this is the downfall of the anime. It failed to keep me hooked and I was already tempted to drop it out of boredom. Most of the humor are bland and corny that they fail to make me laugh and there are several unnecessary scenes in the anime that they should've cut.
Overall: Chuunibyo demo koi ga shitai is an average school life anime. If you're into slice-of-life with romance-comedy and not-so complicated story, then this is definitely for you. However, this is just one of the anime that I will quickly forget in the future (of course this opinion is entitled to me, but others are welcome to share in). Wow, I just said that I would keep this quick and short but I actually wrote a moderately long one. Now, if you would let me enjoy my pizza

-quote not relevant haha, that was just a gag, now here's my review for this movie: when i watched the trailer, I knew I was going to be hooked in to this movie, and after I watched it, I was never disappointed and quickly became one of my most favorite anime movie of all time.
