Kaze no Stigma is similar to both Shakugan no Shana and Buso Renkin in a way. The protagonists of the story include a headstrong girl and a cool, cunning guy. They join forces, overcoming some of their differences, and battle demons and malignant spirits. The romance is a bit vague but becomes more clear as the story moves on. The protagonists' personality, in my opinion, has a great contrast.
