Was this the ending I was expecting, No. Was it the ending I wanted, No. Did it have some logical inconsistencies in the story, a few minor ones. Was it a bit rushed in the last arcs, yes. However the ending does fit the tones and themes for the story and its characters. This was never going to end in a happily ever after or have any idealistic outcome by any stretch of the imagination.
This was always about a bunch of flawed sinners that did some horrendous stuff to protect those closest to them from other horrendous actions and outcomes. You can only hold onto
