Like Edon said, I haven't seen this genre around anime, but I'm really excited to see what they accomplish with the plot, from what I've seen so far it's incredibly good if you're a fan of zombie movies you should definitely check this one out.
I think they're going in the right direction, "this is what a zombie apocalypse should look like" - Edon, couldn't agree more, let's see if they stay faithful to the genre instead of desecrating George Romero's heritage.
