Heya bebop! Been a while. I just finished Xam'd recently (wow, I actually managed to finish a sci-fi, mecha-ish series, haha)... I was confused from the beginning until the very end! ~Lol. I wanna whine, but I'll hold it in since I don't wanna give out spoilers in case you're not done watching it yet.

I think it was a good series though. Confusing, but good. Maybe we could exchange notes sometime when you've finished it too. ^_^

I kinda knew you were gonna like Death Note. I'm glad my hunch was right. ;P I think L was mostly the one I was really watching for the series; he was great. Btw, if you like watching J-movies too, you might wanna try the Death Note movie. There are some differences from the anime but I kinda liked the movie's ending better, and the actor who played L was pretty spot on. :)

I see Balsa made her way into your fave characters list. Yay! I'm really happy you found Seirei no Moribito as awesome as I did. It's actually the 1st book in a series of 10 novels by Nahoko Uehashi. I'm still hoping that they'd animate the entire series. I was also very much hoping Tanda and Balsa would end up together. I can't find any spoilers about those two in the other books! I guess I'd have to wait (and hope) for Scholastic to translate the rest of the books in English (book 1 is already on sale in Amazon).

My previous comment was made after watching ep 14 of Xam'd, that's why I was wondering what'd happen to Akiyuki now that he's got "amnesia." :P Anyway, I thought Akiyuki's masked face was cool. I wasn't too sure if Furuichi actually died... I thought he was just faking it so the soldiers would leave him alone (but that's just me). I guess we'll know soon enough. :D

Busy with work so I put a few series on hold too, then catching up with releases at the end of the week. I'd be glad to hear your thoughts on Death Note when you're done with it. :)

Thanks for the heads up on Xam'd! Wondering what's gonna happen to Akiyuki now. Furuichi was quite annoying, but I'm wondering which side he'll be on (assuming he didn't die?)

Kuroshitsuji is win! I love the darkness, the comedy, and the intense colors, plus Sebastian is cool. I'm very curious about Fon Hulic, so I might check out ep 2 of Tytania since you say it's better than ep 1. I don't mind the RPG-ness of Abyss, but the lead guy annoys me. Jade, Tear and Guy are kinda cool though so that makes up for it.

Michiko to Hatchin ep 1 subbed is out, and it's looking pretty good. :)

The final moments of Ga-Rei's ep 1 totally had me going "WTH just happened?!" too. I'm already on ep 2 and I still have the same reaction. I still dunno what's going on but I'm kinda hooked anyway. xDD

Haha, I almost fell asleep watching ep 1 of Casshern, Tytania and Kurozuka. :P But it looks like we have Kuroshitsuji and Ga-Rei-Zero as common grounds in our fall '08 watchlists. Yay!

Good luck on the boredom vs. bandwidth thing. ^^

Yeah, it's really too bad he died... November 11 was awesome! And yep, Kirihara figured out Hei's identity. I was hoping for them to get together too, but whatever. I really hope for a season 2 or a more serious OVA than the last one.^^

I think you might like Death Note. I haven't finished watching Persona, but that's probably right up your alley (it was adapted from a PS2 game). With Ruoroni Kenshin, although the series was alright, I think you might prefer the OVAs. Ghost Hunt is great, despite file#2 giving me a fright.

OMG, thanks for the news! I've been secretly praying for a season 2 of Darker than Black! I hope they do it. ^^

Haha. I never really thought I had "girly tastes" in anime, I got engrossed in the genre stuff so I tend to describe it more as slice-of-life-ish. xDDD

I saw Trigun ages ago, I didn't realize it wasn't in my list until I saw yours. There are probably a few other titles that I fail to remember (memory gap! xD). I should get a move on too and finish Black Lagoon one of these days. -_-;

You mentioned that there are a couple of titles in my list that you're interested in checking out. Which could it be? Certainly not the girly ones... :P
