i didn't like the first 2 episodes, that silly blackmail thing at the beginning was just a dumb excuse for the plot, and it bothered me a little bit.
that said, i tend to watch at least 3 episodes before dropping an anime, and well...
after episode 3 the story just keeps getting better. if you like yuri anime, you will enjoy this one.
i would say it's a good anime for sure, and the story keeps you glued and it's also good. :)
i think those who quit this anime just couldn't pass through the beginning, but it gets good afterwards.

It's literally a slice of life in the Soul Eater universe.
So, if you like Slice of Life and Soul Eater you probably will also enjoy this anime. (i don't see why not) Actually i wish there were more animes "like that", slice of life in some specific universes... :P And... As the title says Soul Eater NOT! it's NOT Soul Eater or kinda like Soul Eater at all, but it's pretty decent for a slice of life.
