The first episode made me think it was really slow and sad so I dropped it... but I'm glad I picked it up later to finish it. Kind of a slice of life, kind of a combat story, but somehow these two are perfectly blended together to create a masterpiece. The animation is top tier, the story is not generic at all and at times surprised me by not being typical and ohh the characters ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. Excited to see more of this animation, it left me feeling good and intrigued and wanting to know more about this world.

Early 2000s nostalgic feel for this one. Loved the all female main characters and protagonist idea, great switch up and that's what sets good series apart. Intro is an absolute banger and their outfits are so hard. The only aspect stopping me from giving a 10 rating is the fact that its not fully adapted, and also the last 3 episodes are not cannon, I want more anime!!! The power of friendship/love thing comes in the last episode and its such a generic way to end , lots of open ends. I'm sure if I read the manga I will love it and it will ... answer all my questions, I probably will read, but for now just go watch Claymore. Overall great story, art and a worthwhile ride leaving you wanting more!

This is honestly a masterpiece. the nostalgia and connection I felt from is unmatched from anything I've seen so far. I Haven't seen many slice of life / romance anime but this changed my opinion a lot, to be fair I think this is an exception and a blueprint. It is truly a masterpiece. The soundtrack is a masterpiece, every song, the OST's, The irl singers used to portray Nana and Reira are perfect, character development along with the old school vibes give it a special rank on its own, The anime feels unfinished with so many questions still but maybe that's how it supposed ... to be. Thank you to Ai Yazawa for this, I hope she recovers and can lead a peaceful life. whether she finishes this or not she did an amazing job. I will have to read the manga now. But anyone who is on the fence, Please watch this.
