Lol sorry to everyone just had to do that cause that saying is awesome but let's get to the review.

Eden of the East is I guess you would call a mystery/romance/action that's very interesting throughout its run.

Story 8:
Eden of the East starts off pretty interesting with our main character Takizawa standing naked, with no memory, holding a gun and a cell phone in front of the white house. After seeing our second main character Saki, who decides to take he anger out on the white house by throwing a quarter he decides to ... help her by getting the attention on him. After this he's pretty much just trying to figure out who he is and what's happened in his past and what's going on with his weird phone. The story actually progresses very well being slow at times and pumping it up at others but it makes it all feel very smooth. The story for some reason actually feels very American which I think it was going for since it even mentions the Borne films and Taxi, its very well done the way that American movie style and anime mix very well in the story. The one complaint I have is something I've been seeing a bit lately, its that as someone watching you figure certain things out and then you're looking at the character and you're like 'why haven't you figured this out yet you have almost the exact same info as me?' As an anime that's trying to be hidden in mystery you figure certain things out pretty fast if you just pay attention and in the end its really rewarding but you kinda want to scream at the characters a bit.

Art 9:
The art for Eden is amazing I absolutely love it the characters and environments all look amazing. The one thing that I think looks really awesome is the phones their all very interestingly drawn or rendered well since at time they look kind of seem to be 3D.

Sound 8:
The sound for the anime is Very good both the opening and closing themes are pretty good and sound design for everything is solid. I watched this English dub and I must say this was a very well, I absolutly love the voice of Juis and think it is absolutely perfect. Everyone else in the cast does a very good job at bringing out their character at no point did I feel like a voice didn't fit who it was assigned.

Character 8:
The characters in Eden are all absolutely awesome, I love every single one from the main two characters to the side characters everyone seems really defined in who they were. One thing that was really good was that they all compliment each other in some way or another, but pretty much I like each and every character that's shown here in the series.

Enjoyment 10:
For me personally I enjoyed everything about this from slowly finding things out about Takizawa and his past, to seeing what Saki and her friends phone app was, to seeing how much power some of these people really have, to even the little sweet moments between Takizawa and Saki that are had.

Eden of the East is a very good anime with a bit of mystery that's very satisfying as things become uncovered. The only thing is that to finish the series you have two movies to pick up after but I loved watching this series.

OK let's jump in and get to my review of Abara.

Story 6
The story of Abara is strange and for the first time in my life I'm not sure that's a good thing. The introduction to the story seemed really cool but after that I got lost in basically a lot of talking that wasn't all that interesting and didn't help me figure out at all what was happening til I was about done.

Art 6
The art for Abara was a bit hit and miss for me some things looked cool while others didn't. The style looks really old school in ways but doesn't do much besides ... sort of look old without the coolness that it should have.

Character 4
The characters for this were really a let down. The manga basically hates main characters because I didn't feel like this story was about any one person. It starts off with a guy that seems kinda cool and quickly (as you'll see) tosses him and switches to another. You don't get a feel for anyone in this short time and I barely remember anyone's name.

Enjoyment and Overall 6
I had parts in the manga were I thought things looked cool and sounded cool but it all amounts to nothing. The manga overall didn't do much for me I didn't enjoy reading the 13 chapters I read almost at all and this really just felt like a waste for me.

OK I'll start off by saying what's here in the manga is good for how short it is I thought that what it did in its time was good.

Story 7
The story for this was pretty decent but was really lacking for me because of the length of the story, I don't buy how fast certain things happen or how they happen at more then a few points. Even with the length holding it back the story gets the job done and I thought it was alright.

Art 7

The art here I personally liked but I can't say its new or blew me away at all. The ... characters look solid and the environments are good beyond that nothing is really noteworthy.

Characters 7
The characters have the exact same problem the story did that the length really limited them, I liked the characters for the most part but then again they do things at points were its like there was a hint of something and then it jumps to them showing it all.

Overall and Enjoyment 7
I personally like weird things with psychology and stuff in them so I got a kick out of this. The thing is I enjoy things like this but if you've read stuff in this genre at all but especially Aku no hana you will be calling bullshit on this manga. At the end of the day the manga told a interesting story even if it was a bit short, if you want a quick read that's a bit strange then definitely grab this.

Deadman Wonderland, what can i say about this anime? Well for starters lets just get the story out of the way. Deadman Wonderland follows Ganta Igarashi and is set in modern day Japan one day his whole class is murdered by a mysterious red man and through actions against his control he is found guilty of murdering his 30 something classmates and sentenced to death. Now in this version of Japan about a decade before these events there's a great Tokyo earthquake that left not just the city but all of Japan devastated. After this a prison is built called you guested it Deadman Wonderland ... the first prison to make money off the prisoners with rides and such and this is where Ganta is sent.

Now that that's out of the way let's talk about the things this anime does right and the things it does wrong.

First the story. For someone who read the manga up to it's current point I love the story it tells however with this anime you don't really feel that it picks what story it wants to tell. At one point Ganta's doing this another he's doing that and so on the way the story comes across isn't bad but it isn't that good either.

Next the Art. The art for this anime is done very well its the art style the manga did and the manga and anime did it well. Almost everything is done very well except a few moments were there is censoring but i guess that can't be helped but still worth mentioning.

Next is Sound. Sound overall is pretty good things make the sounds you would imagine for the most part. My main issue with the sound is the cussing i understand people cuss and swear but there's a lot of it and I know they did quite a bit in the manga some lines are even pulled right from the manga but some of it should have changed a little for context at certain points they don't do it right or it sounds weird which just ruins the moment it was going for. Something else is that they tried to stay real with the sound i guess you could say but at moments they really should have went up a notch or two. *Slight Spoiler Skip To next Paragraph* At two points i was kinda disappointed cause they were eh when they happened and whoa when i read them at one point a dude get sliced with a sword and barely anything another moment that was super eh was someone kicks the shit out of a giant robot and its doesn't come through the sound how much of a feat it was to do something like that.

Characters. Characters in this anime are highs and lows. Some characters like Crow shine but not as much as he should have, others like Ganta fall short but only because the anime doesn't get up to his development which sucks since he's who you are following in the story. The characters after the 4th or 5th ep starts to rotate into characters that did or didn't shine in the manga but don't really get the chance to do either.

And next we have enjoyment. At the end of the day did i enjoy Deadman Wonderland the answer is a yes, its fun its crazy and there's some nice twist but dialogue and some other issues just come out and bring it down time to time.

Overall I give Deadman Wonderland a 7 its good but only barley it really messes up in ways i just couldn't ignore and if i had compared it to the manga it would have gotten almost a 5. If you like gore, fighting, action, and a story you won't fully get unless there is a season 2 or read the manga then check out Deadman Wonderland

Deadman Wonderland was an alright anime overall sure it did its job where it need to but I feel that it fell kinda short. Deadman Wonderland OVA however does quite a lot for the one episode that it is. This revolves around the bad ass character Crow and his pre-Deadman existence which was kind of skimmed over in the manga but was non-exsistant in the anime.

I won't go into detail but there's quiet a bit of character development not just for him but for the few people around him that kinda mattered but only in the OVA. The story was the best part if ... not only this OVA but the way they told this story made it almost out shine the regular anime.

Almost all the characters that showed up none being from the main lineup except for Crow were at the least enjoyable especially his I guess you'd call sensei who teaches him quite a lot within the short span.

As far as enjoyment if you liked Deadman Wonderland the anime then watch this its extra story and Pretty cool, but if you read and enjoyed the manga WATCH THIS NOW its a nice look at Crow and his past and very good story.

Overall I give it a 9 out of 10 for me who struggled with the anime because of some bad choices from manga to anime this is one part I absolutely loved and might revisit.
