Story (9)-
Kokoro Connect is a an anime based in a high school club consisting of seemingly"average" students. When abnormal activity such as mind switching begins to occur between the clubs members unbreakable bonds of friendship, love and despair arise. Complete with humor and nothing gore- ish or explicit this anime is one of my favorites for it's originality and innocence.
Art (9)-
kokoro's animation art is both modern and close to flawless in terms of anime standards. However, I decided to rate this as 7 because it's not creative enough for me -although it is meant to be in the "slice of life" genre in terms of

everything happening outside the club there were no noticeable patterns and not many bright colors (i'm a girl gimme a break) it seemed a little too dark for an upbeat anime in terms of art. The characters were also a bit plain but that may be my opinion after watching so much fantasy action anime.
Sound (8)-
The sound is nothing distorted, with modern background music that's suitable for each scene and doesn't exaggerate or downgrade the scenes mood. Nothing was really wrong with it however it didn't really stand out that much and personally I really love anime that focus more on music like dubstep and whatnot.
Character (7)-
Kokoro connect focuses on 5 protagonists -2 boys, 3 girls. Each character has his/her own perks. In my opinion the main protagonist is Taichi the absolute nice guy. Out of all of the 5 main characters I think that Taichi is the most average however because he is so nice the other characters sometimes tend to "abuse" that kindness. This is the reason I rated my enjoyment for this anime a 7. The 5 main characters are the only members in the club that is plagued with abnormal occurrences, although I have mentioned this before, as a result inner conflicts and relationships arise as the anime digs deeper into all of their personal lives.
Enjoyment (7)-
At the time this was the exact anime I was looking for; nothing too crazy and nothing too normal (however I would've preferred maybe a little more craziness). Depending on what your into this anime can rather be an amazing heart stopper or a boring slide show. Personally my enjoyment of the plots idea was probably ranking at 10 however because I thought that the relationships between the characters were all wrong therefore I downgraded the enjoyment rank to a 7
Overall (8)-
although I disliked the characters relationships and some of the characters themselves I was drawn in my the anime's originality in terms of the base idea of abnormal occurrences at a high school secluded to only a few people etc. the art and sound were both modern and suitable and I decided to ignore my own high expectations and suffice for what was there so I had no reason to hate them but no reason to LOVE them resulting in my enjoyment rating being slightly downgraded however overall I gave Kokoro connects... overall... an 8 after balancing out all of the ratings. However this is my first review so this overall may vary between opinions.
-I hope I didn't give out any spoilers ♥ ♥
