300 some chapters in. Sima started off likeable but mid way I started to dislike him, mainly because he was willing to abandon/sacrifice the handicaps, whom were some of my favorites, particularly Huo. But as for favorite storyline, it would probably have to be Liu Bei and his crew (including Huo), my least favorite was Cao Cao's (though, he had some of the most badass characters in the series under his reign).
If you're a fan of Lu Bu, check out Chan Mou's other series called Unhuman, it's essentially a mini-series that details Lu Bu's betrayal of his foster father, Dong Zhou. It also details his capture, brutal death, and what happens to Diao Chan afterward. I especially like that it shows characters from The Romance of The Three Kingdoms in an alternate way from RoT, including Diao Chan, Lu Bu and my boy Guan Yu. It also shows Lu Bu's death in a different way that I preferred to that from RoT.

I'm not up to date, but it's definitely one of my favorite series of all time.
