So, the story basically just revolves around Otaku NEETs who have their lives changed by a gorgeous human. Or disrupted, rather.
That part is actually pretty fun because it's pretty relatable for those who are a bit socially awkward with intense passions. The show does a beautiful job of portraying everyone's passions and obsessions; I'm a bit biased since I love this trait in actual people.
But what can be at best called a side-plot of romance? It's done so poorly. It's like they were like, "WAIT WE NEED TO HAVE MILDLY COMPLICATED ROMANCE...wait, no we don't."
So, I'd watch this to watch the fun part...but
