Look Back (Manga) add
I'm not really into reviewing stuff, I have a lot of opinions on stuff but I'm lazy like that.
I also don't really like giving 10s away, it feels too easy but I'm a hypocrite like that.

We know that perfection doesn't exist. Art is subjective and it will always be, so you can't apply rules or standards to it, but sometimes you'll find something so beautiful and poignant that you won't help but feel like you struck with something truly wonderful. It happened to me the first time I read Solanin, and it happened now that I read "Look Back".

Regret is something so personal that ...

It's okay. It relies too heavily on the animation and beautiful art style it has, but the story falters quite a bit, specially in the middle part.
The final act is cute, with some fantastic elements (very Ghibli like) and a pretty realistic representation of how a young boy may come to terms with stuff he can't really comprehend.
I did find weird a few of the interactions between the young boy and the dentist woman. It's super understandable how he may feel about her and his way of processing their interactions, but it felt like she played along almost too much, which was a ...

Gleipnir (Anime) add
Preliminary (3/13 eps)
Absolutely horrible edgefest.
Like the horrid offspring of the worst of Elfen Lied and Darling in the Franxx, with an extra sprinkle of fursona.

I need to make this review longer so here goes a joke:
Gleipnir.

That's it. That's the joke. Do you get it? Because it's bad. Very bad.
I can only think of what a hard time the animators must have had while doing this.

Please just let me submit this review.

Beastars (Manga) add
Preliminary (196/196 chp)
What started as a really original premise with lots of potentials, quickly transformed into a hot mess of nothing.

The good:
-Original world (think Animal Farm but on a world level).
-Good art (started more realistic and evolved into a simplified version).
-Okay-ish characters (at the beginning at least, after a while most of the cast just turned into an edgefest).

The bad:
-Everything else.

I swear I used to love this manga, and when the first season of the anime was announced, I got happy. Now I only wish they change enough stuff for the anime to not crash and burn as the manga did, or to end it directly after ...

Kaijuu 8-gou (Manga) add
Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (13/? chp)
As of right now there are 13 chapters. It started pretty strong (I'd say an 8), but over time I just can't help but feel nothing is happening, at all.
Sure, there was a fight, an exam and a little twist and mistery, but the dialogue is so empty and the characters so... bland. I can't help but feel like I've seen all of them before, and done better.

I'll keep reading for now, but the only kind of strong point is the art, because the story started ok but now is a solid 6, and the characters aren't much better except for the MC who's a ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (10/? chp)
I really wanted to not drop this since I basically haven't dropped any manga besides Nanatsu, Zip-Man and Dr Stone. I try not to shit on an artist's work, because it's their life, literally. So trust me when I say it pains me to say this really is not good.

Like, yeah, the art is pretty badass, but that on itself can't possibly justify the score this manga has.
The characters aren't good (at least the ones I've read about), the story is non-existent, and the little it has, doesn't even make sense. Humans are at the level of gods without explanation? (at least until the moment ...
