AHOY MATEY! (i know that you're probably gonna watch √A anyway after watching season 1 but whatever)
OVERALL: 6/10 Okay, let's get to say that this season paled in comparison to season 1 with twists turns and confusing stuff that really made it boring. Kaneki became scary and it made you feel almost sad for the Doves who were trying to kill him.

ANYWAY, I was fairly impressed by this anime with the character development that really set the scene for me. The main character morphs as he spends more time with Hinazuki and makes effort to save all of the missing children. (which should be probably talked about in the synopsis if not, well shoot.) He becomes more open than he ever was as a child which is taken notice by his fellow classmates and his peers. OKAY, I get that it was pretty friggen obvious who the killer was, I was shouting ...

One of the primary reasons I was unable to enjoy SAO was because of the time skips that had occurred since the beginning of the season. It made things complicated and I was unable to completely map out how distinct the character development was and which characters had main roles. Though it is understandable that some parts of the life in the game does not need to be shown, they proceeded to add fillers in between episodes straying from the overall main focus. The story is so messy I would rather watch The Last Jedi.
