Okay, this is my first review but I honestly do not understand the hype for this movie,
I am going to start with my score of enjoyment because this is where the anime lacked the most for me.
Enjoyment 1/10
I have tried to watch this move three times and I've never been able to finish it. I know this movie is directed at people who like sappy romantic movies and I am very much apart of that audience, however what I noticed to make me hate the movie so much was the dialogue. The characters do not speak like normal people and we do not see

shared happy moments. The movie is constantly at low point never really hitting the climax for me. I shouldn't be 30 minutes in and feel like I just wasted minutes of my life waiting for some emotion from the characters.
Story 6/10
The idea is a great idea, but it doesn't stand out.
Art 8/10
The high point of this animated movie was the art for the landscapes and sky but the character designs kinda lacked and the female and male protagonist from part 1 looked too similar and made me feel like they were siblings so they lost marks for that.
Sound 6/10
Tbh the background music made my brain hurt but that might just be my frustration with the forced dialogue.
Character 3/10
There was like no character development. We were introduced to the characters and watched them do their role in the story and I personally couldn't relate to any of them or care what happened to them.
Overall 4/10
I can not score this high as I can't finish this movie without feeling annoyed and bored so it get's a pretty bad score. Sorry if this review was so disagreeable but this is how I feel and needed to vent
