Well as it goes it's using all the known things like the light(Red) attracts a darkness(All the ruckus happening around him.) or in evil there is a kindness which was Lavender and her gift to Red for Rit and so on. I like Ruti because she was the one from the beginning that wanted to go out of this hero business and eventually wanted to live near her brother which i fully understand since it's her only family while Van have absolutely nobody at all and when Ruti was fighting she was always returning in her mind towards Red. She gained a power but not misusing it, she is still hero but a hero on her own not a doll of her blessing.
I think all characters have something in them which makes me like this anime and if you like chill anime riced with some combat occasionally it's a good watch.
When it comes to art/music and everything else it's basically on same quality as season 1.

If you truly like anime and you are not one of those twitter people that get offended easily by something drawn this is still one of the best Isekai show ever made.
[Spoilers ahead : Story]
So let's go down with review then:
Rudy has suffered ED because of Eris and got depressed as he usually does but who wouldn't be in his shoes. Eris broke his heart and left him alone he suffered another mental breakdown and it's shown basically in first episodes in this season when he tried to commit suicide but is actually stopped by Soldat. Soldat actually helped him to stand up at least somehow back, Soldat is important character for Rudeus even if he is shown only in few episodes of this season.
When he entered the school we seen Sylphiette but now known as Fitz problem actually starts right in the beginning when Rudeus didn't recognize Sylphiette and thinks it's actually guy again ['i think this was kind of weird maybe even stupid because as Sylphiette is drawn in show is really hard to miss but we go along with it'] Sylphiette is starting to realize that she still loves Rudeus but now it's got even more serious and Rudeus is in love with her but he doesn't know it's actually Sylphiette. So as episodes goes at the end they find out and make it up... and did it. Yeah i like that he decided upon staying with her seriously because she literally saved him and so he took upon it and decided that he is going to marry Sylphiette which is actually his first mature love in this sense it's not just about sexual relationship but something more then that and Rudeus grown up again and actually got his ED got cured .
It might been silly here and there but without comedic relieves it would be just drama and suffering.
By the way how the hell Elinalise ended up in serious relationship ? What ???!!!???
Im glad that they decided to keep it real and maybe even gross in some parts and it is what it makes this show great it shouldn't be soft or happy it's about journey towards improving yourself and as it usually is it's not nice or all happy moments.

Yeah art got a bit of debuff and it shows sometime but it's not honestly a disaster it still looks good.

This anime will be one of my favorites after long long time reason why is being pretty simple it's such a easy to watch anime without complicated story or fan-service it's just fun time and sometimes struggle.
Yuna as main character is fun to look at she is usually self-centered and do not want to do things unless she have to but it doesn't mean she will not help the people who needs actually needs help and while she do that she also finds a lot of ways to improve her life style. Obviously i could mention her bear costume and her bears Kumayuru and

Kumakyuu but that goes without mention without her two bears it wouldn't be a full team.
Fina the next most important character is obviously Fina little girl that Yuna met in prequel and as Yuna gatherer she have some development of her skills and teaching Yuna the meaning of the money since Yuna sometimes forgets that she have a lot of them and waste them where she can specially if it's food. Fina is like a little sister of MC and she is very supportive of her in every case but she is not only supporting MC but also her family Shuri which is her younger sister and mother Tirumina.
We also see other characters but this review would be too long for it.
I liked a songs they have chosen for background and also opening and closing of this anime but closing from prequel Ano ne by Yuna (Maki Kawase) was my favorite so far.
Art didn't change that much and im happy for it... im super excited for another sequel.

As much as i recommended and give it high rating there will be some RANT!!!
When i came across this anime i thought it's gonna be boring harem thing but i was surprised how good it actually turned up.
SPOILERS: In short terms MC dies in his world, meets god that admits he did a mistake and let him be reborn or better terminology in this case spawned into another world where could enjoy his life, Hiraku(MC) asks for healthy body and that he want to live his life somewhere further away from big civilization and so he can just spend his day farming in chill.

What Hiraku didn't knew was that he actually get super overpowered tool that is not only capable of farming but also putting down everything that stands in front of him. Well fighting is not main priority of this anime but laidback show where things go slowly and MC is enjoying his life. Hiraku sooner meets his first actual doggo friends or again in this case Inferno Wolfes that are incredibly cute but also dangerous they become a great asset to farm since farm also needs protection and food.
And now to the best and worst part of this anime Hiraku meets his love Ru he don't even hesitate and because after long time being alone he asks her to stay with him. He propose out of some weird way and the next episodes she actually calls him Husband ???! What the hell ? We didn't even see anything from their relationship and Ru didn't even have screentime HELLO!!?? SHE IS LITERALLY SECOND MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN VILLAGE AND NOW WIFE OF MAYOR(HIRAKU) what !!! oh... so times go bye more girls get around ... we get EPIC music YEAH MUSIC IS AMAZING let me tell you something it's from guy who composed for Fairy Tail and songs in this anime are bangers to be honestly 10/10 in music production you can't say anything else you get chills, you get happy moments, you get elven songs just amazing Yasuharu Takanashi is talent. Back to story just 3 episodes ... eeee Ru is pregnant ! My face was like ("Wait are you... serious ???") HOW ??!!! We didn't even see them kissing, no bed time shown in anime anything that could lead to it ... so i was naturally thinking wait that's unrealistic there is no way .. nope she really is pregnant and he did it... they just cut it out from anime... so after his son is born i was like yeah this part at the end was great Hiraku actually realized that he is father (he was surprised too bit..) i was like maybe she did to him what those elven girls wanted to do him too but nah it's legit.
Like whole anime is good and fun but they just had to remove the most important part from it and that's relationship of two characters that are really important for whole village like common .

Just as first season it didn't disappointed.
This anime is and will remain in the section of chill, making friends, building and improving. It's exactly as i expected and im happy with it.
I hope for 3rd season and that we will maybe skip some time and see Elia come back for at least some time. I don't know why people are writing negative reviews on this anime, yes this is not gore, full of action anime this is literally about enjoying life in different world.
Art style could be better but you know what i won't complain since this anime isn't famous or as

popular as you would like to so they are operating on some budget i guess. There was one scene i didn't like because it used CGI but it was just for few seconds and that's okay.
Characters are as you expected there are not much change besides Elia forming new relationships with her new schoolmates.

I do not understand why people put such a low scores on this anime when it's this good.
I personally give it 8.
Why ?
This anime is simply chill it's not about long lasting fights, it's not about killing demon lords, it's simply going trough the life in the new world. MC do not miss use his powers or nor he is affecting world in such a big manner that everything instantly changes better he is no opportunist he is just simply guy that got broken in his past, lost his mother and now he finds people that he cares about and they care about him. you are going to watch this anime please give it a chance until episode 4 at least. This is not anime about some massacre or pushing trough the very hard times it's more about enjoying life. Yes this anime can have it's own problems and definitely it's not perfect but if you are trying to find chill anime where there are some hardships but also people and connections this anime will be something you enjoy. I personally love this type of anime and i usually watch them after i seen some more heavier anime that where full of actions and this just brings me enjoyment and chill. Im glad anime like this exist it's almost close to "Ascendance of a Bookworm" but it doesn't have it's world building and quality of character development.

Mushoku Tensei is one of those anime who start as your average Isekai but then it starts turning around.
First time you probably see this anime you think it's all perverse and power fantasy and that turns around more you watch it.
This isn't your average anime with perfect protagonists but rather show characters as normal human beings with their flaws and weaknesses but also strength's.

You will probably see Paul as complete scum that cheated on his wife with other woman, he slept with like half of the woman he ever come to contact with and did even worst things, he is sometimes very arrogant and

even slaps his own son without even listening to him and argues with him. In this manner you would probably say yeah that person is absolute worst human being on this planet but that's simply not it... Paul is growing as character and once he did something wrong he realize it and starts making his progress not only as human being but also as parent when he actually shown that he cares about his kids and he wants to be with them even if he fight with Rudy all the time he loves him and that's undeniable if you ever finished watching the series. Paul often thinks of him less because Rudeus is talented and smart but he realizes that too and figure it out that his son matters to him a lot and not only him but his other kids too. Even if you will see in this anime Paul as scum you will see him as a person that grown up a lot and while seeing him in his worst you will always see him in his best as a loving parent that actually cares about his family.
You will see in this anime characters constantly hurting each other as emotionally so physically, giving up but the thing is that there is always somebody who helps them to stand up and fight with their current own problems even if it's hard.
This is how most characters are in this anime, nobody is perfect and for me when it comes to character writing it's always gonna be 10/10.
There are few flaws here and there but as for Isekai genre it's still one of the best if not the best.

When i was starting with this anime i wasn't sure if im going to watch trough it all but i decided to stay and after 3rd episode i was already hooked.
-Anime is good, almost non-existent annoying fan-service.
-Good character interactions.
-Fun YES/YES but also seriousness where it should be.
-I would be happier if relationships move faster.
-World is weird but it takes only few episodes to get used to it and after you will not pay any attention to it besides few bizarre things that occur here and there.
-Story is bit predictable since we all know what is going to happen at the end but we

don't know how to and there are sure some surprises that you wouldn't expect at all.
-Characters are very different from each other(yes you probably can find this types in different anime) and this is what drags me to it since i have one meter for every character and that is if all characters would look exactly same would i be able to tell difference who is who ? And yes in this anime pretty much.
This is anime is actually done great and without any unnecessary things. 9/10

It's not anime for everybody but i recommend it just for my own sake because i would have to lie if i said i didn't like it at all.
Positives where mostly from how magic impacted world and that MC wasn't overpowered or yet central figure of this anime.
This anime have a lot of brutality in it and i liked how soldiers where affected by magic it self, they needed to be wary because they knew how dangerous magic but also it can save people.
What i didn't like was few flukes on characters i would be happier if MC was more interesting then just braindead

walking body. Sometimes it really railed me up that once he have feelings for his professor and after they are parted he don't even give a damn.. "just i wish i could be more with her"... lol If i have to say it MC was the weakest point of this anime but at the other hand they weren't making him a hero from a start like some others anime have it where MC is almost instantly perfect but not in this anime.
Obviously characters like Kudo,Holdem,Youhei or Zero was saving this anime since you really can't expect anything from MC sometimes i had feelings like he is not even MC he is just like that to fill up time and then they removed him since there is not much you can expect from braindead walking body.

It's getting actually better and better i can't give anything else then 10 to this anime.
*spoilers*
Even if ending was a bit cruel towards Main and her family it's gonna get even better.
I was wondering when they wanted to start adopting her but it happen quicker then i thought, Main is going to be noble, which is kind of weird since i expect others are going to bully her. I don't like that she was separated from her family like that but it was in order to save their life. Even if she was basically allowed to see her family sometimes i wonder if she

would have enough time to do this at all since she is enrolling academy for nobles where she will be taught magic and since there are like few nobles that are actually good and not gonna spit on her every time they see her it's gonna be hard for her.
I don't know what to expect from next season and i only hope it's gonna be at least 12 parts because 10 isn't nearly enough for anime like this. Now another year of waiting... but it's worth it's all worth hands down this is currently best Isekai anime for me.
