Shit, I got diabetes.
Gakuen Babysitters is a really soothing manga. It's simple, sweet, and extremely cute. You might want to enjoy this whenever you're depressed on how harsh life is.
Story - It doesn't have much of a plot, but surprisingly, this is what makes this manga enjoyable. The story is really light, you wouldn't feel depressed while waiting for the next book to come out. But still, it has some cute and touching moments as well.
Art - F*ck, the art is too cute. Dem babies. I nosebleed a lot while reading this.
Character - What should I say about the characters? I mean 60% of the
...
characters are babies. But they are all so cute I want to take them home.
Enjoyment - This is no serious manga. This is the type of manga you might enjoy while chilling down. Beware tho, some of the cute scenes might be dangerous for your heart.
Overall... well what can I say? This manga is adorable, that's it.

I'm sorry if I'm biased here. I really am.
Sekaiichi Hatsukoi-- literally means World's Greatest First Love, is quite a cheesy title. But seriously, take a time to understand the meaning of this title while reading this manga and advancing to the next chapters. It seriously has a deeper meaning than how it might seem.
Story - I have no complaints for the story. The story might be going on circles, but at least to me, it's really beautiful. Sekaiichi Hatsukoi is one of the few series I've ever read which can make me feel so depressed for the emotional scenes, and grinning like an idiot for
...
the sweet scenes (or is it just me being over-sensitive). Nakamura Shungiku really likes playing with my heart. While the main plot doesn't seem too special, the execution is beautiful and--- man, emotional! There are so many sentimental scenes in this series. I can't help crying over it.
I also love how this manga occasionally switches its point-of-view. It helps us understand the story even more, as we get to see things from the others' perspective.
Art - The art looks kinda funny. But at least the author tries to differentiate people's roles by their chins (hint: square chin and pointy chin). The sex scenes are hot.
And yes, it's better than Junjou Romantica's art. Their faces here look more proportioned, and the Maiden Department dudes are all handsome!
Character - The characters might seem overused in the world of animanga, but once again, I somehow still enjoy this. We have Onodera Ritsu, the typical tsundere main character. Takano Masamune as Ritsu's love interest (or is it the other way round?), who is really persistent and aggressive. I don't really get people who bash characters just because they're too mainstream. If they fit the role, why bother getting pissed off? Enjoyment is the best part though.
Enjoyment - Man, how I love this series. I might be biased because this manga was the first yaoi manga I've ever read, but I think this manga deserves its popularity. I really enjoy reading. Some moments just hit me so much. I can laugh and cry and squeal while reading this manga.
Overall it's a freakin' awesome read. I recommend this to, ugh, EVERYONE! Enjoy your sentimental moments with this manga.

First of all, please don't stop reading because you smell something lolicon.
Super Lovers was recommended to me by a friend. I actually had no complaints since I have finished catching up to all of my favorite series, and I'm extremely bored. So I decided to give this series a try. Like, what could possibly go wrong with this kind of beautiful art.
Story - The story is not what you can find on the other yaoi mangas. Yes, it is extremely weird at the first chapters you might as well throw this manga somewhere else because.... because of reasons. And believe me, everything is not what
...
it seems. It is going to get better as the story goes by. The best part of this series is, even after 17 chapters (which are extremely long), the main pairing seem like they haven't gotten anywhere. Their romance development is considered slow compared to other yaoi works out there (it's only chapter 1 but there are sex scenes already? Duh) but believe me, Super Lovers is worth the wait. It's actually realistic how their love life's pace is really slow.
In case you hate anything lolicon, here's a reminder: the main pair's age gap is like Yukina Kou and Kisa Shouta.
Art - F*ck man, the art is beautiful. It's like a sparkly shoujo manga. And it's yaoi. Is there anything better than this.
Character - We have Ren, our stubborn and almost emotionless teenage boy, and Haru, our typical beautiful and perfect older brother. Haru has a serious brother complex. He's really overprotective towards Ren. And Ren... I'm afraid if I say more, I will spoil the fun. Ren is a really cute individual and he has trouble on expressing his feelings.
And he wants to be a grown-up so badly.
Enjoyment - Reading Super Lovers is like a rollercoaster ride. As I stated before, the pace is unbelievably slow compared to other yaoi mangas. Maybe you will find yourself twitching your nerves, gritting your teeth while whispering "where the hell is the sex scene?!?!?!?!" but there are also sweet and sexy moments in this manga. Not gonna spoil, but just see. The moments in this manga could be really emotional. It wrecks my heart, man.
Overall this is a good read. This is a perfect example on how a yaoi series should be: focus more on the story, leave the lust later.

Yay, I wrote the first review for this manga!
I might be biased here, so please don't mind me. I just have to review every single one of Yamamoto Kotetsuko's works.
This manga is utterly cute. Yes, I am so biased because apparently Kotetsuko's art really got into me. And the story, how the characters are depicted, they are so my type. So please don't mind my biased review!! I'm trying to be as straight as possible here.
Story - I have read other works by Kotetsuko, it's Honto Yajuu. Basically, Kotetsuko writes a really cute and heartwarming stories where the main couple fell in love in a
...
cute way, became lovers, and have sex along the way. That's what happened in Honto Yajuu. But here in Omairi desu yo, things are a little bit different, because they are struggling to have sex! Well things happen, and you just gotta chill out.
I've never thought of Kotetsuko being able to write a tragedy (bcs her works are ultimately cute), but yes, there was a tragedy here in Omairi desu yo. It's the 6.1'th chapter. You have to read it to find out. It's good to have twists every now and then, you know.
Art - The art is drop dead cute. Yuuji is freakin' cute. Everybody is gorgeous. 'Nuff said.
(well I've stated before that I'm so biased...)
Character - I love Yuuji, he's a klutz but he's really cute. Saburo might seem cold and apathetic, but whenever he's with Yuuji, he's also cute. Yocchan from the nearby cleaning business is also cute with all his do.M-ness. Kenji is also awesome with his do.S-ness. (yes, there is going to be SM couple here)
Enjoyment - F*ck it, I love this manga. Or I mean, I love every single manga by Yamamoto Kotetsuko.
Finally, I recommend this to you guys wanting to read some yaoi with overflowing cuteness. But I warn you though, don't go committing suicide if you can't stand waiting for the newest chapters.

I'm sorry I'll be a bit biased here.
Honto Yajuu is simply----- cute. F*ck man, I don't know what to say about this manga besides cute. This literally has 'cute' written all over it. Everything in this manga is just cute. Wait, have I mentioned that this manga is really cute already? Looks like I haven't. So yes, this manga is freakin' cute.
Story - This is a BL-- *coughs* pardon me, yaoi manga. So it's about a guy falling in love with another guy and do sexy things together. Compared to other yaoi mangas I have read, Honto Yajuu has the lightest, cutest story. It's pretty
...
much about our two protags, Tomoharu and Aki's (sex) life. Not quite as complicated and as heart-breaking as other yaoi mangas, but still intriguing. I love how the story gives me a really warm feeling.
Art - The art could probably the best point of this manga. The art is really clean and simple, like those in shoujo romance mangas. I really love the art, especially the cover art. Every single one of them is awesome, I saved them all. Now I'm having a hard time picking which I should put as my phone wallpaper.
*coughs* And also, the /steamy, juicy/ scenes are drawn well, I guess. (I'm too embarrassed to look at it straight, because they are all so cute)
Character - I especially love Ueda Tomoharu, he's an adult with a really calm and composed personality, but can get jealous at times. He's able to cook, and he's really gentle. But he can get really aggressive when.... when.... when doing /it/. Basically, he's every girls' dream. Too bad he's a yaoi manga character.
Gotouda Aki is also a really cute individual. He might seem scary at first sight, but believe me, he's extremely cute. Like, freakin' cute. He's the reason why this manga is super cute, aside of the fluffy art. Even though Aki might seem the most aggressive one, saying blunt lines like "let's f*ck!" or "i'm gonna jump you", he's----- he's cute. Okay. He is cute. That's all I've got to say.
Enjoyment - F*ck yeah, I really enjoy reading this manga. As I stated before, reading this makes me really happy. This isn't the manga that could get me bored. It's freaking cute with tons of cute scenes.
In short, I really love this series. I really recommend it for everyone hunting awesome, but sweet yaoi mangas to read!! Too bad I've filled all 5 of my Favorite Manga spot here in MAL. Or else, I would gladly put Honto Yajuu as one of them.

OK, Kyou Kara Maou is one of those long-run series that had really caught my attention since the first time watching.
This is the case. I love classical things. So naturally, I also love the setting in this anime, which is some sort of a parallel world decorated like ancient Europe. The idea of 'this kid has some great powers which he's not even aware of' also matches me pretty well. Then again, I love this series.
What do we have as a story? Basically this series is about how a normal teenage boy advance on becoming a king. Being a king isn't easy, duh? There are
...
lots of conflicts going on and as a king, one should somehow find the best way to solve it. Yuuri Shibuya, as a character, is typical: a naive kid with a strong sense of justice and despises fighting so much. Actually, in this series, that kind of character brings change. The Mazoku race, once so proud and won't hesitate to wipe out all humans that stand on their way, are slowly changing, thanks to their new dense king. Yuuri's character is also refreshing in his own ways, even though there are limits on being dumb.
This series starts as a gag anime. It doesn't actually have a main point to complete in the beginning-- or it SEEMED to not to-- so it's full of filler episodes. I didn't mind anyway, because the stories are always amusing. BUT!! There's always a but. Later on, you'll realize that this series isn't all about gags, jokes, stupid moments... but actually has quite a well-built plot. The ending of this season was really interesting, IMO. That moment when a gag isn't just gag.. ooohhh the thrills.
So what next? Oh of course, the shounen-ai aspect! KKM eminates this shounen-ai aura, and that's right. This is a really prominent part of the story, and so, um, you better bear it. Yes, there are some sliiight (not quite the slight one of your BL radar is trained enough) hints of gay, but I guess no worries, because you won't find extreme homo romance here. But maybe, just maybe, you will begin liking shounen-ai after you finish watching this series, because, gimme a break. 95% characters of this series are boys, after all.
No, not some sort of 'OH GOD I LIKE THIS GUY--' or 'OH PLEASE DON'T GO NEAR HIM, I'M JEALOUS' thingie. It's all pure hints. Yuuri is straight. Even though..... Gunther and Wolfram are indeed a bit disturbing. Especially Gunther, seriously. But this first season doesn't contain too much BL hints. There are more on the 3rd season and KKM R.
Why is BL taking over this review? Nah don't mind it please. Anyway, KKM is a really amusing series. You should give it a chance if you're still considering whether to watch it or not. Cheers!

Ryougo Narita, I'm in love.
That's probably what you would think after you watch this anime. Yes, Ryougo Narita is the one who produced this anime.
So, this anime is all about.... no. Baccano! has no center. Even though Firo Prochainezo is the suspected official main character in this anime, this story isn't just all about him. If you already watched Durarara!! which was made by the same author, you'll probably understand what I'm saying. This anime has lots, lots of cases, lots of characters, and lots of problems. That's okay, because in the end, they were all solved!
Baccano! to me is a really complicated, one intriguing
...
series. The main theme, delivering, and even story is all original and you wouldn't find anything similar to this except in another series made by the same author. This series is simply, magical. I especially love how different stories in the end could join as one, concluded as one, and nothing left behind. Well, we have some characters responsible for uniting those stories... and you'll find out after watching. The main plot to me is a kind of awesome, even though it's... like I said before, complicated. Lots of fights (or maybe gore?) and some scenes aren't just... suitable for younger viewers, I warn you guys. You'll see blood splatter, those evil laugh, torturing, and things that are sooo scary that at some point you would pee your pants (or is it just me?). But aside of those frightening scenes... even Baccano! has some romantic, sweet points. Not gonna spoil, just go and watch!!
And how the story was told is what amazed me the most. Like DRRR (this might be Narita's style in telling stories), this series isn't quite chronological. I mean, sometimes we could fly to two years later, or maybe go back two years earlier, and then go a year later, so on. Because lots of different stories are being told and those stories are on different time span, that's what happen to you; time going back and forth. It may be so confusing at some moments but believe me, when you keep on watching, you'll understand everything. In the end, everything is one, and one is everything. The past tale might have some relation to the later occurrences. What you should do is not complaining; just watch and use your head sometimes to think.
As I stated before... the violence might be too tense to some watchers, but I think that's one of this story's great aspect. I mean, it was awesome. Seriously. At some points you might want to puke, but.... hang in there! Even Baccano! has some funny moments.
The art is clean and simple, but I think it was ok. Once again, the violence were awesome.
Sound... what to say? This anime doesn't have much of a soundtrack... but well.
Characters! We have lots of characters here. And the story doesn't just revolve around one character, it's eeeeverybody's story! I especially like Baccano's moodmaker, the most amusing duo Isaac-Miria (they even appeared in DRRR lolll). The characters are varied. Well, characters' are what makes the story whole. And I love Baccano's characters.
Overall enjoyment is awesome. Maybe you'll get confused on timing the scene right, or maybe you'll get lost at which scene happened first, then this scene, etc. But it's, once again, ok!! Everything is going to be explained in the end. Or maybe you'll get to understand as the story is still going.
So, what are you waiting for? If you're looking for a dark, mysterious mafia-based anime, this is the right choice!

I-- I--- screw everything, I'm gonna write this review my own way.
Prince of Tennis is a series that you could love it forever or you'll gonna call as a trash your entire life. Well, it depends on how your taste is. Whether you like sports anime or not, whether you're willing to accept any flaws in this anime and just enjoy it, whether you just can't accept the unrealistic parts of this anime... there will be lots of answer depending those. As for my case, I am... I just don't know what happened to me but I could accept everything regarding this anime. I could
...
forget those borders of realism and enjoy this series to the fullest.
The main plot is just like the other sport series, a student entering a sports club in his/her school (in this anime, it's tennis club). I think nothing's marvelous about the story, but everything is okay. The main theme is tennis-- a sport called tennis, and none other than that. No romance, no action, no fantasy (well..... some of you might think some of the techniques used in this anime is called fantasy, that's ok), it's all revolving around tennis. And as a tennis series, I think everything is good! I got to learn everything about tennis from this anime. And I began to like tennis even though when I first watched this anime, I barely know about that sport.
Hmm then... plot-wise, it was awesome as well. The matches are never boring and something interesting always happen, whatever it is, to make us enjoy watching it more.
Nothing much to say about the art, but I love how rich the character designs are. They are different from each other and has their own unique appearance. I've watched all of Tenipuri's episodes + side stories, and in all that, the art was pretty stable. I enjoy watching the tennis matches because it was animated neatly.
The sound is also ok, lots of different BGMs and cool seiyuus.
So we're off to the best aspect in this series... which is character!! We have lots and lots of different characters in this anime that we can describe one by one just by mentioning their traits. The characters are so rich, different, unique in their own way, and no character in this series is boring. I could say, no. Why yes, we have an arrogant, cheeky brat as our main character and tons of cool supporting characters like, a data maniac, narcissist king, short-temperament powerhouse, a double-personality, beautiful guys (we have two), trickster troll (can you guess this one? =))), your typical scary guy, a strict leader, timid girls, a cheerful moodmaker, a mother (??), and many more. Each characters are different from the others, and that's what makes me feels like I'm so connected to this series.
Overall enjoyment to me is.... 10 out of 10. Because, this is like, so fun! Aside from stressing matches, we also have some special stories that most of them are gags (srsly) and we also have these Chibi Tenipuri episodes which is to me, really refreshing.

I...... Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is no doubt my most favorited anime, ever. Yes I dare to say ever because.... because.... this anime is just so unique in his own way. And in one series, 27 episodes, I can swear I could feel almost every emotions got mixed up in my mind. Everything-- sad, angry, touched, happy, laughing my ass out, mindf*cked, super shocked...
So what qualities does this anime have, that makes me regard this series so highly? I'm gonna describe every single thing.
First of all, it's definitely the story. The main plot looks pretty original to me; a group of people staying underground while
...
some rebels declare that someday they're gonna go up and see the sky! I got easily hooked after I watched the first episode, and what happens next never disappoints me. After they finally go up from the underground, lots of things began to happen (I'm not gonna spoil anything). The battles are just interesting and makes us eager to watch more. Moreover, it's not all about mecha, fighting skills, fantasy, or man-to-man bond, but we also have some of....... romance! Yes, romance! To me, romance is never boring (even though there's always these typical triangle love or something), but instead it makes the story becomes more interesting and the bond between the characters eventually grows. Even though romance is not particularly the main plot of the story, the romance becomes more important as the story goes on, and thanks to the romance, watchers could relate themselves more to the story, and results in making the story even realer! Without romance, this story would be just plain and... tasteless. Whoops, not gonna spoil anything. Just watch and you're gonna understand.
Besides romance, every scenes in this anime are just-- awesome. In 27 episodes, they could divide the stories into some parts with just the perfect length of episodes that no scenes are too long nor too short. Everything is just perfect. And even though the story could be considered complicated (and might be frustrating) in the middle til the end... you can just sit back, relax while enjoying the thrilling sensation and your wild heartbeat. This is the real thrill!
Second, is the art. The art is so clean and, to me, beautiful. The robots look cool-- yes, every robots. The character design is also awesome, with cute girls and macho boys (even though there's these slight fanservices of our main woman character). And... let me spoil a little bit, because in the end TTGL battles would be presented in outer space, the outer space was also cool! It's like looking on the night sky, with dark surroundings and sparkling stars. And all the mecha-related stuffs were also great.
Then, the sound. Nothing much to say about the sound, but I really like the opening and ending songs, especially the 2nd ending, Minna no Peace. The seiyuus were also good, they fit the personality of each character.
Then we have... characters!! Characters is the second best aspect of this anime after the story. Well like some other series, we have Simon, a timid guy as our #1 main character with his companion whom he calls Aniki-- Kamina, a strong and a brave man. Kamina is a really interesting individual, because he's.... the manliest among all men!! He's so brave that sometimes he becomes reckless, and he is willing to do anything to reach his goal. He's no doubt Simon's role model (because Simon is like 180 degrees different from Kamina), and Kamina also taught Simon lots of things. One thing I personally like is his wondrous quotes-- some of them are the common one like 'WHO THE HECK DO YOU THINK I AM?' until the most original one, "Don't believe in yourself, believe in me who believes in you!!". There are still lots and lots more of his quotes that you'll get to find out when you watch this.
Besides Kamina, we have Simon. Simon's personality and existence doesn't particularly stand out because of Kamina, but as time goes on, he began to mature himself and becomes a true man. Even though he's sometimes intimidated by Kamina's super power and great leadership, and also lots of things happen in his life, he took everything that he had experienced to his strength and then becomes stronger, stronger, much stronger, that in the end he is completely worth to call this anime's hero. Surely, he had ups and downs, but he's still an awesome man that has been through everything and stands up in the end as a respectful leader.
The last, enjoyment is top notch. Because; this series will get your emotions mixed even if you're not as emotional as me. There will surely be a time that you'll get so touched that you cry, you're so pissed of that you're screaming, you're so hyper that you're laughing out loud, you're super confused, mindblowns, etc. To me, the feeling I had when I watched this was the best feeling. So, I gave overall 10 out of 10 to this stunning masterpiece.

This series is really stupid (I refrain from calling it an anime...).
In a good way of course!!!
I was introduced to this series by my teacher, who played it in front of the class after we finished the lesson. There's nothing serious about this series. The ones who will enjoy this are the ones who don't expect too much seriousness from a series.
The humor is awesome. I can't stop laughing. Because this series is sooo stupid.
It's a great series for you to enjoy with a cup of tea...... well not exactly, except if you want to burst it.
The art is so classic, typical ordinary animation, don't
...
compare it to Disney Pixar's stunning and mindblowing art, please.
And the story itself is original.
Nothing much to say about the series. But if you want to kill time and kill some stress, go and watch it.
