Watched it today in Tokyo, did not regret it.
Gantz:O is a CGI adaptation of a manga that was an extremely enjoyable piece of work. The CGI was consistent and beautiful, the fight scenes were amazing, and the makers stayed true to the storyline to an extent, which is excellent as well. The gore was something that I had worried about since this movie is PG12, but it was very vivid for a PG12 rated film, and personally it was satisfying enough for me.

were a little disappointing, but to be honest those changes were understandable, and it didn't ruin the experience at all. Some of the big changes that came to my attention was,
1. The absence of several Tokyo and Osaka team members, including some members who had amazing battle scenes in the manga.
2. Katou's stance in the arc; in the original, he has already experienced battles against aliens, but in this movie he's shown to be a newbie, oblivious to the rules and weapons of Gantz.
3. An altertative ending to the Oni alien arc and Osaka arc.
Overall these changes are understandable because this movie is obviously for newcomers as well as fans, and if they had put all the characters in a 96 minute movie Gantz:O would've become a extremely rushed movie. Despite having these restrictions, the changes managed to fit in very smooth with the entire atmosphere of the Osaka arc, which is one of the reasons I give this movie such a high rating.
In conclusion Gantz:O is a film that you simply need to watch if you're a fan of the original work, and even if you aren't, it's worth the watch with a solid story, outstanding graphics and fluid fight scenes.

To start things off, I usually don't write reviews. The only time when I write reviews is when I feel like a manga deserves it. And Golden Kamuy definitely deserves to be in that category.
Story: The story of Golden Kamuy isn't exactly something unique; it's basically treasure hunting. But the thing is that Golden Kamuy is a manga that contains several genres that usually doesn't go well with each other. We've got historical, adventure, gore, comedy, action, cooking, psychological, etc. God knows how much this manga is going to cover. Golden Kamuy is basically a big fat cluster of

genres, and the amazing part is that it goes well. The way that the author describes the scenes is simply great.
Art: The art of Golden kamuy is easy to distinguish. The design is fairly good, and the way that the author writes the scenes are easy to understand. Also the gore in this manga is pretty explicit, which may not appeal to younger people, but after all, this is a seinen.
Characters: The characters of Golden Kamuy are all crazy in their own way. Even the MC and the heroine isn't an exception, which is something that we don't see very often. The characters in the manga stand out in both good and bad ways, sometimes to a degree that it's too much to keep a straight face. Personally I thought this was great because the dialogues between the characters are so interesting thanks to the craziness.
Enjoyment: As I said before, this manga covers many genres, and for that reason, it's very chaotic and hilarious. I myself wasn't sure what to expect when I first decided to read it, but I realized after reading a few chapters that I was missing out on an astounding manga.
Overall: Overall Golden Kamuy is an amazing manga, and not once did I regret reading it. The only reason why I didn't rate 10 is because it's ongoing. It's a wonder why it hasn't become popular, and I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to read something really funny and interesting.

Story: The story of Usogui takes on a realistic point of view of illegal gambling, that gamblers need violence in order to protect what they win.The story is complex and unique in a good way, but because of that, it took time until the plot made sense. It was then when I finished reading volume 29 that I first realized how deep the story is, and I was amazed how all the things I thought were not relevant came together. The storytelling in my opinion is also excellent on how the author manages to convey the tension of the games to the readers. The games

that are introduced in the manga are sometimes complex, other times simple but they are all quite easy to understand, and the author manages to create psychological battles that are complex and entertaining, but it may be too complicating for some people. In conclusion, I think the story is simply outstanding and should not be judged without reading at least 100+ chapters
Art: The art of Usogui was definitely not the best when it started, but the art continued to improve throughout the whole series, and by the tower arc, I think it's safe to say that Usogui has excellent art in total. However, the way that the author draws the characters sometime becomes silly, almost comical. I myself enjoy this change in art, but it may be revolting to others.
Characters: The characters are one of the reason that I like Usogui so much. There are two protagonists in Usogui, one is a genius gambler, while the other one is a normal guy. What I like is that the readers get to see the normal protagonist become smarter and become a better gambler over time. The author also succeeds in creating live and interesting characters, both good and bad. The characters are so interesting that sometimes the MC doesn't stand out among them which could be considered bad in a way, although I don't mind at all.
Enjoyment: Usogui is a unique manga that has both psychological and battle aspects due to the realistic themes. The manga does a great job of fusing the two aspects that don't usually come together in one manga, and it should be very entertaining to people who like either one of them. One thing is that while the fight scenes are fairly realistic, the style may not be suited to certain people. This is just a matter of taste, so it will depend on the person reading.
Overall:Overall I had a great time reading Usogui. It sometimes requires lots of thinking to understand the games, but once understood, it will definitely be worth the time. The only reason why I didn't rate 10 is because it's still ongoing. I hope this review encourages people to read this unrecognized and underrated manga.
