'Ur' is more like 2005-2010 netspeak, and the thing about netspeak, its used for tiny fast posts, also on boards for shitposters not debates and actual messages. So yeah if you approach like that to someone who you expect to take you seriously and have any sort of conversation with... You have the wrong approach. As per "How the hell are you going to give the One Piece manga a 7-8 when you're over here whining about NOTHING OTHER THAN the pacing and animation quality?"... I have no idea what you mean. Like, from this sentence one can't tell if you're telling ME i should LIKE or DISLIKE it or..? "Shouldn't the manga be your ideal representation since it checks off all of your pissy boxes?" What 'pissy boxes'? Ideal representation of WHAT? Shitty or of good?? As per the revivals, no, there where plenty i gave examples of - brownbeard being one, being killed (knocked out) like FIVE times in a row, each time the show trying to squeeze maximal tension and drama out of it, and those where in such a tiny time frame too, as it couple of episodes, that it was simply hilarious and idiotic. Again, there's plenty more, both for side and main characters, ALL THE TIME. 'Ur' is not a word. And what'd you expect? Horrid animation and art quality (not talking about the art STYLE!), only about 10 minutes of content per 20 minute episode (5~ minute arc opener, stretched out, sluggish scenes and development rate, repeats, minute long staring... and what'd you expect if they're using 1 or less manga chapter per episode, when the standard requirement is 2+), constant 'deaths' for drama, then revives, as mentioned, sometimes multiple times per episode and infinite characters, a lot of which appear for way too long, considering you won't ever see them again later (these flaws spread to the manga too i guess)... What other verdict would you expect? Even EVERYTHING ELSE was PERFECT, the horrible art quality would drop 2 points off the score, and the fact its 10~ minutes per 20 min episodes another 2, so -4~ points right off the bat (this wouldn't apply to the manga, which is decently drawn, and, being source material, isn't stretched), not considering any other flaws, of which there are many... Didn't really read the manga, but it'd probably pull off a 7 or 8/10, but the anime? Its garbage, can't honestly say otherwise when measured by any objective standard.
