Let me preface this by saying I absolutely love cutesy, typical romance anime.
This one just didn't do it for me.
Story:
Bland. There's not really much story, even the episodes themselves barely have any plotline to them.
Art: Phenomenal animation, but not up to the standards of other anime released this year IMO.
Sound: Didn't really notice it at any point. Not a very good sign. Seemed pretty generic.

I don't understand how this anime is getting good reviews when it's quite literally pedophilia.
She's 17. He's 12. That's absolutely horrific and gross; doesn't matter the setting or situation. There is nothing romantic or cute about a GROWN ADULT grooming a child. I urge anyone who finds this sort of thing cute to re-evaluate your moral values. Maybe get a therapist. Nothing more needs to be said about this anime. Pedophilia is disgusting. End of story. I wish this anime lived up to its name, but if anything it makes me feel like the world is more depraved and disgusting than I thought.

______________________________________________ A feels-good film for people who bullied others to watch meant to make them feel better for their terrible actions. Literally no redeeming qualities about this movie if I'm being honest. As someone who was bullied into attempting suicide multiple times I find it terribly inaccurate and a poor portrayal of what it actually does to someone bullied for a disability. Forgiveness isn't something that is earned or should be earned by bullies. Learning to live with the consequences of quite literally torturing someone mentally is what they should be doing, not pestering the person even more out of their ...

A lot of users seem to dislike this anime for various reasons of which I find irrelevant. Comparing one show to another is like comparing one human to another; each one is different and has its own unique points that make it entertaining to watch.
I completely disagree with the other reviews on Tokyo Ghoul. To me there is a certain amount of symbolism behind Tokyo Ghoul itself that makes it different than any other anime I've watched.
