"Suzuka" has certainly made a lasting impact on myself. Enough of an impact to actually post an online review.
What I liked most about this anime was how real it felt, how I sometimes was despising a character at one time and then sympathizing with them at another time, and how even though I have finished the anime series it still occupies a large portion of my daily thoughts. I would never have guessed an anime series could stir up such feelings inside of me(I am not a very colorfull person, though, I am a total sucker for drama, ironically). Anyways,

on with the review.
Though "Suzuka" does not stray far from the few locations of the story, the crux of the story falls solely on the characters and their relationships to one another. Even more engrossing are the backstories some of the characters have, which further complicates the advances of one to another.
At times, I hated some of the characters for their actions and obesessions, but I can't help but take those feelings positively. Raising such feelings, good and bad, is what makes anime shows like "Suzuka" so impressive. And, though, I don't have an arsenal of anime experience, I believe "Suzuka" is a top notch drama/slice of life story.
I gave "Suzuka" a rating of 9 because anything higher makes me feel like im cheating the anime community out of a heart written review. Personally, "Suzuka" has left a mark on me that is much more than just a number.
Watching the anime series has convinced me that the manga will be just as great because the story has left such a lasting impact on myself and I plan on purchasing the last half of the manga chapters.
