the main characters obtain a impossible looking dream and go for it not realizing that they are better than they think. also they both seem to be similar in the way they approach the sport.

main characters are very similar as in the weak sensitive type. the discovery of a natural talent for the relating sport is also similar. all in all both are great and deserve a watch.

Hero tales seems to be pretty unique in its portrayal of martial arts so the closest i could find was kenichi. the only differences would be the ecchi side and the fact that kenichi has no actual fantasy side to it.

The only difference is the character and attitude of the main female roles and the sport in which they are involved in. The main characters are very similar and have hidden talent as well as a weak exterior.
