how i rate an anime
For Me It Comes Down To 5 Factors
#1. Animation Quality
(The visual appeal of an anime is important. If the animation is lackluster or boring, it will significantly impact the overall rating.)
#2. Character Development
(Characters are the heart of any story. An anime with dull or uninteresting characters will most likely receive a lower rating.)
#3. Storyline
(The story is a fundamental aspect of any anime. If the story is poorly crafted or unengaging, it will result in a lower score.)
#4. Soundtrack and Music
(A great soundtrack can elevate an anime, making it more memorable. A strong OP or ED can positively influence the overall rating.)
#5. Personal Enjoyment
(This is the most influential factor. If I genuinely enjoyed the anime, it will have a significant positive impact on the final rating.)
rating meanings/ how i get my final rating
10 – Exceptional
(A flawless anime that sets the standard.)
9 – Outstanding
(Among the best in its genre.)
8 – Excellent
(A thoroughly enjoyable and high-quality watch.)
7 – Above Average
(Better than most, with some notable strengths.)
6 – Average
(Decent, but nothing particularly memorable.)
5 – Below Average
(Lacks sufficient merit to recommend.)
4 – Subpar
(Mediocre at best, with significant flaws.)
3 – Poor
(Largely unenjoyable and poorly executed.)
2 – Very Poor
(Leaves me questioning why I watched it.)
1 – Abysmal
(An anime that should never have been made.)

In Order for Me to Get My Final Rating I Must Do 2 Simple Things-
#1. Add Up Each Rating from My 5 Factors.
(Example)
Animation Quality - 8
Character Development - 8
Storyline - 7
Soundtrack And Music - 9
Personal Enjoyment - 8
(Adding These Equals 40 total)
#2. Then I Take My Total and Divide It By 5.
(Example)
40/5 = 8, so the overall rating is an 8
