Animation. The animation is very amazing,mwah chef's kiss. The style, the ambience it's just... it's just so good it feels like they're trying to draw your attention from something, hmmmmm... oh yeah, trying to draw your attention from the fact that THE ADULT WOMAN GROOMED A TEN YEAR OLD BOY, yeah penguin highway you're not slick, I know why your animation's good, you might have tricked my good friend

The story of penguin highway is very easy to follow, Aoyama,a smart kid feels he's to grown for his age, meets lady with with supernatural abilities and basically have an adventure. The characters however, I'm sure whoever made them was thinking with the wrong heart, I mean how can you tell me you made a boy that's smart borderline genius and quite frankly very relatable to extremely intelligent children, and then you go ahead and FACK it all up by making him a FACKING DEGENERATE,why just why, let's not forget the FACKING 20 SOMETHING YEAR OLD LADY who clearly knew the child was oogling her and instead of reprimanding him, she rather enables him, WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FU-
Oh but biggy it's a kid's show, don't read into it that much. A kid's show, A KID'S SHOW? Aight bet, reverse the roles real quick and instead of a boy ogling and think about breast 30mins a day, its now a ten year old girl who's obsessed with a 20 something year old man's VEINY ASS DI-. Not so kid friendly now is it. 7,story gets a 7
Overall if you're a fan of studio Ghibili styled animation you'dlike the style of this animation and if you like MEETING AND INVITINGTEN YEAR OLD BOYS you'llalso love this show, the art'sgood, story's not but fun to watch either way, 7. Babai

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH,this was what I felt throughout the show I don't want to even waste words on this show to be honest so I'm just gonna jump right in
Animation is alright... FAK, the animation is great, the details, the background the intricate movement of the machines, the colours, WOW,just woww, it reminded me of studio ghibli's work. Animation's a ten
The characters, the FACKING CHARACTERS though, why in God's green earth would you write characters so.... ugh that's the only way I can describe this piece of DOGSHI-.... hahhhh i need to breathe, how can you be considered a genius and be contradicting your so called "genius"

by making the most brain dead decisions ever. None of these characters are even memorable in the slightest, never have I ever wanted to drop-kick a child as bad and I have been a teacher for 2 years, 2 FACKING YEARRRRS, FUUC-. It's a 2 for me
Don't wanna waste time on this anymore, there's a lot of things I wanna say but I'll let it be.Aside the animation and surprisingly the dubbed voice acting (usually watch sub but I loked the dub of this more) the rest of this show is just mediocre at best.i do not recommend a sane person to watch this Thank you bai

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... what to say, what to sayyyy, this show's good but that alone wouldn't be doing it justice now would it? So then, let's get right into it
Let's start with the animation, my favorite thing about this entire anime. The character designs were so unique each and every second was a pleasure to watch, how do I put this, everything seems so alive( I mean I know they're alive duhh,but..but.. yall get it) I even liked the rotoscope( not sure if it was) in some parts of the anime. Long story short,the anime is a solid 10
Moving on, the story,albeit very similar if not a

clone or inspiration maybe of dororo minus all the violence, is pretty solid. Instead of killing demons to get his body back, he dances,yep he sings and dance, that inu-oh be putting Micheal Jackson to shame with those leg shuffle and whatnot. Tomona,the supporting was also doing his thing with the biwa, the two were so breathtaking and the end of this show really kicked me in the feels. Haaahhhh I loved the story,it gets a ten
Finally,the last thing I'd like to talk about which i never thought I'd be reviewing on an anime is the music, never thought this day would come where I'd be reviewing music of all things but here we are, anyway I wasn't a big fan of the music, I mean I did at first until it got repetitive in my opinion all the songs followed the same rhythm except the last song I guess plus the animation used in the earlier songs were reused so it just felt meh to me soooo, it gets a 6
With that said, if you want to watch a high school musical version of dororo then I highly suggest you watch this anime, it's immersive, animations stunning,characters are fun to watch, the downfall of the antagonist was hilarious, I mean what's not to love... the music yep the music ( only at the start though, the last song was pretty good). Overall the show gets a solid 8. Babai

Backflips, backflips, backflips all day, show so good I did a Backflip again (as usual I was rushed to the hospital again). Enough said, quick, to the review
Jumping right into it, the animation, what can I say shii was perfect, I loved it, it was great, the scenes, the characters even the background characters looked amazing, tell me I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the background characters were rotoscoped,it was very pleasing on my to my eyes, I mean VERRRYYYY pleasing, I had an eyegasm even that's how good the animation was. Gone are the days my eyes have to subject themselves to static people

in the background stuck in a time stop spell of some sort. Animation's a ten and I will die on this hill with thousands of others
The story had me, a grown ass man holding back tears at some point in the story, haven't felt this way about an anime ever since, ever since akame ga kill. So as to not spoil anyone , the story follows Hana,a single mother raising her two werewolf children Yuki and Ame and that is all you need to know. The story addresses so many real life struggles mothers go through fr. This movie made me appreciate my mom even more, I saw her in Hana for real and that alone was enough reason to give this show a 10
I recommended everyone, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YALL NEED TO WATCH THIS,it's a great watch with family with it's incredible storytelling and animation to boot.A 10 a perfect 10

Hmmmm, haaaahhhhhhhh,WHAT. IN. THE. ACTUAL FAK did I just watch. I don't even know how to write a review for this to be honest but we'll see what we can do
The story,for this this chapter at least is so FACKING MIIIIIIID, I don't even remember the last time i felt bores watching an anime ugh, what's it even about, Japanese ghost buster? Ghost slayer? What, what am I watching, what's all that about floating, flyin, falling,dying,what,WHAT did I waaaaatccccch(this is your not so good recommendation so far paddy, don't let let it happing again). I didn't vibe with the story nor it's pacing so

Now, what's next... ah yes the characters, I hope the characters were a bit interesting to watch, oh wait,THEY FACKING WEREN'T,characters so boring I couldn't remember any of their names. Sukuom?suck suck? Suchmid? Just can't be bothered with mid characters and what's up with this bum ass dumb ass villain, talking about "I wanted them to notice me and be my friends so I FACKING MURDERED THEM" such dumassery,such bullshit, didn't you realize it wouldn't work the third time you did that, did you never hear "third time's the charm" well take a hint lame ahh loser. The main mc isn't any better with her "tsundere" ahh ugh when will this trope EVER DIEEEEEEEE UUGHHHHHHHHHHH, HAHHHHHH. Characters get a 5, it's whatever
The only saving grace of this mumbo jumbo od a movie is the animation. It's better than seven deadly frames and some moreen day animation and the animation was the only, the ONLY reason why I sat through 50mins of this BULLSHI-. Animation gets a 7
Overall the anime is... tolerable if you reduce expectations( you recommended bangers when it was your turn but this, this was not it) the shows aight I guess, will have to be forced to watch the rest tho. So it gets a 6 overall, animation's working overtime for that score

ORAAAAAAAAAA,show so good I did a back flip (landed on my neck and currently typing from the hospital). What can I say, I'm a sucker for good action animes, sword of a stranger is an action packed anime filled with blood, swords and straight up peak moments
The story follows a boy on the run from the "bad guys", Kotaru, alongside him his trusted companion, Tobimaru the shiba inu and on their escapade they meet the cool, calm collected ronin, Nanashi along the way. Honestly the story from there on out is quite generic but the thing I love about that is how it doesn't feel

like a chore to watch even though you could probably predict what would happen the next couple minutes. I also the like how they don't waste half the duration of the show doing the whole "when I was 7 years old, I saw my mother getting ran through by 50 back back men and ever since that day, I swore to myself to revive the KKK" but instead, though the flashbacks were short, it gives enough understanding as to why the ronin refuses to unsheathe his sword.
I would give the story a solid 8 but that would make Tobi sad so the story gets a ten
The characters in this show are fun to watch and the character development of both Kotarou and Nanashi was awesome to see as well, TOBIMARU the best character in the show however needed no development as he was and is always a good boy and for that, the characters get a 10 as well
For music, I didn't really pay attention to it and could you blame me, how can I focus on the music when the GOAT, the BIG DAWG TOBIMARU is on the screen, his growl, his whimper,his bark were all the music the show needed. A 10
All jokes aside, sword of the stranger is an amazing show for anyone who enjoys action animes, it's fun, it's refreshing, all the characters are interesting to watch even the villains.
I would give this show a solid 8 but then that would mean, TOBIMARU THE GOAT is not perfect even though he is, so with that this show gets a perfect 10. ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY TOBIMARU

Ah, where do I begin, this anime is as beautiful as the first time I watched it as a kid and wanted to rewatch it with my friend as my bird brain had forgotten what the show was even about. I'm glad I was able to rewatch this show and rekindle my love for it. The animation is very colorful and cheery. The scenery,the characters are all *chef's kiss* I loved every second of this show with it's stunning colours, I can't talk about the animation enough as it makes the show even more worth watching. To me, the animation alone deserves a solid ten

outta ten the animation's great for real
As the for the music, I've never really pay much attention to it irrespective of the show but not for this, the background music was heavenly as it beautifully supported the scenes they were in, I can't say the same for the fgm tho, tha shi was ass (not that I could make such music even if I tried). So for me the music gets a solid eight, it's certainly not the best I've heard but it gets the job done
Patema and Age although kinda flat I'll admit but that fit form of flatness fits well into the verse and to be honest I think the antagonist carried the show, in my eyes at least. Now that I think about it he reminded me of the bishop? Pope? Pastor? Whatever he is in the hunchback of Notre dame, he didn't have any sad back story that'd make us sympathize with him, no, he was evil for the love of the game, I mean shiii I'd probably do the same things he did minus the blatant pedophilia of course. I also liked how the show gave some weight or feeling or whatever they call it to the background characters, the character development of the assistant guy (can't be arsed to remember his name)was refreshing to see as well. Characters get an eight for me
In summary, patema inverted is a fricking awesome show which actually addresses a lot of racial discriminationin happening in the real world, the art is stunning, the music, decent, the characters, interesting to say the least coming together to create this beauty. This could have been a perfect ten had the main characters been more rounded, it gets a solid nine from me. Jolly good show
