This anime made me want to learn more about the French revolution and the events leading up to it. Something I had no interest in before. I think that says a lot about its story and execution. I could not give it an 8 however because part of the show's goal seemed to be defending Marie Antoinette. In my mind it failed to do so and lost some of my goodwill in the process. The animation is outdated looking, and also made me think it had inspired Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga with all the sparkles it had. The voice acting was quite good. All in
