I remember reading this back when I was in tenth grade, around 2 years ago. I was such a sucker for romance back then... I still am but thankfully I've changed lol. I remember vividly that I felt for Suiren so much because I guess I kinda saw myself in her, plus, I was in a similar situation back then (the guy I liked liked me as well but he was really shy and wouldn't make a move). I thought that this was peak romance and it wouldn't get better than Hibi Chouchou.
Ah I was ignorant and deprived of love.
thinking about it now, It's actually
...
such a bland story. I guess it's realistic??? because they're both introverts and the both of them were scared to take this more seriously. i still find their little texting and gift giving scenes sweet and adorable because it literally feels like high school love (at least for me, I wanted this type of relationship). If I remember correctly, it's a slow burn but it makes sense somehow...
[this is the part where I actually rate it]
idk how to express my frustration about it better but I just came here to diss on my old self for being too shallow minded and thinking this was a 10/10.
Right now, it's a 7 and I'm being generous. Art is really pretty, the boys are really pretty, the story is every teenage girl's dream. There are tons of better stories out there but if you're like me who listened to a random pinterest post or if you like shy boys or girls, go for it.
