I'm just here for a good time. I love series that move me--ones that bring me to tears and ones that make me so happy I fist pump in the air. All of my highly rated series live up to the rating--and all the low rated ones are ones where I just want to punch the author square in the face and ask them 'why'...
It doesn't matter to me how good the animation/art style is in a series or how many awards it's won--if the fanservice is distasteful and the characters and plot are bad, I'm the one bringing down the average rating. Trash is trash, no matter what kind of sparkling bow it's adorned in--it still stinks.
