Hello there, friend!
We at the Australian & New Zealand Anime Club are proud to present... Our very first newsletter!
This community was founded on the 28th of January - 2015, and since that time we've come a very long way.
You are only reading this because YOU made it possible by being a very important piece of what makes this club what it is.
That said, we are happy to announce that we're coming close to reaching the 1,000 Member Milestone!
It's a wonderful thing to know that there are so many fellow Aussies and Kiwis who love Anime and we hope that we only continue to grow from here on out.
About the newsletter:
So you might ask, what's this newsletter all about?
Well, great question. We've scratched our heads a few times and figured that this newsletter will be dedicated to letting you know that we're active!
Despite the substantial growth of our club, there is still a handful of you that we still haven't had the pleasure of getting to know.
We want you to understand that this is a safe and fun club, but if you're shy then we're not going to force you to participate, this is simply to remind you that there is a place for everyone at this club, so if you ever warm up - come and say hi!
Here's what's happening right now:
We have a wide selection of club activities that you can participate in, from anime discussion to club games or casual conversation.
Anyone in the club is free to make up whatever thread they feel would interest people!
What we hopefully have planned for the future:
GFX Competitions, Giveaways, Club Member of the Month, Gaming Groups and more!
So, other than that, there isn't much to say this time around but hopefully the next time we have to do this, there is much more to look forward to.
We again are thankful to have you, and hope that you come and have some fun with us sometime soon.
- Yours truly,
The Australian & New Zealand Anime Club.
it felt way to rushed all of the sudden to me. there was much and more that could've been done to it to improve overall, but yes the ending is of course the best that could be :D
yes I agree there really is so much they can do, especially sine there is so much information they would have to go over the screen time wouldn't be capable of it unless they invest a lot more into it which may not prove good for them.
Funny thing with Asuka and Haurto the first time I saw them together was in the anime adaption and they just kind of hopped on it without any development so I was like "HARUTO WHY ARE YOU KISSING ANOTHER GIRL!" I was pretty upset, Asuka is cool but she is like you said a fill in till Yuzuki comes back and is not as wonderful as she is:)
The manga seems to love to make you think that she did love Kyousuke but I didn't like that they never cleared it up to say if Yuzuki had in fact lover him or not. I feel that she was acting out of kindness for him and he was a friend but nothing more, like you haha. For me I was always completely outraged at Kyousuke and Yuzuki being together it drove me insane I seriously started to hate him. The fact the he seemed to think he could win against Haurto also just made it worse. I was more ok with Asuka and Haurto being together than Kyousuke and Yuzuki. Just them being in the same room drove me to breaking points.
Their current situation is wonderful, im glad they continue to fall even deeper in love even though they may be separated for now. But im worried because things seem to be leading up to a a whole new crises. If I could I would do anything to preserve their happiness :D
oh no its all good:) I know that a lot of times things get in the way of what you want to do and such.
I've actually begun the manga and finally caught up to the current chapter about to be released, chapter 256. Even before I read the manga I loved the story, and I always thought Yuzuki and Haruto should be together. I was very passionate about it and wanted them to be together and always happy to the point it drove me insane when anything happened hahaha. There were times where I thought the author did some pretty stupid things that were very out of character for Yuzuki such as the time when Haruto goes to Tokyo to help Yuzuki, thinking she's in trouble and wanting to clear things. I thought she had some major derailment in character for the sake of plot. I personally never could except that she had apparently "loved" someone else than Haruto and I still refuse to believe it.
But ya, after being able to experience both Im able to understand how and why people feel this way about adaptions, however I still like and stick with your view more. And yes the manga wins by far, for so many reasons:D
hello, I came across your Kimi no Iru Machi ova review, and I just wanted to say I admire and respect what you said about adaptions. Sadly many people doesn't seem to understand or want to understand it. Also kind of commenting on your profile because im interested on your thoughts of the anime compared to the manga. if its all right id love to converse with you on the matter:D
