Opening song was an absolute banger. So was the first episode.
But that's all that was good with this show.
If anime could be scams, this would be the biggest one. I really tried to like this, especially because of the premise. But I couldn't despite my best efforts. You go in expecting something amazing but realize you are met with one of the biggest snoozedfests out there second episode in.
The animation is horrible. Overly fluid in some places, jarringly static in others. You can tell they used more AI smoothing instead of real animators.

Honestly, I only started watching the remade Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu just to see what the hype about the original was all about and because after watching so many anime, movies and shows I was beginning to run out of things to watch. I never expected to watch it all in it's entirety and am really glad I gave it a chance.
This is not my typical genre, yet there is something so compelling about the storytelling that it keeps you coming back for more. A grand drama that intrigues even those not fond of the genre. The modern art style is very well done and ...

As someone who has watched over 300 series so far, I absolutely recommend this series and give it a solid 10/10.
Despite the plethora of time-travel based media out there, this show has managed to pull it off in quite a different way and it actually feels thrilling. Honestly however, the time-travel aspect seems more of a background plot and it focuses more on character exploration and relationships. The exploration is very unique as it shows how differently people turn out in the end depending on their choices and the way their environment affects them. Not really something others have been able to pull of this ...

As someone who watches a lot of isekai anime, I picked it up out of habit and I was not disappointed. The premise felt very engaging and the mystery kept me tuning back in every week for more. What was this world? Were were all the people? Many questions, little answers.
But sadly, that appeal only lasted a few episodes and the illusion of mystery was shattered. The grand appeal vanished into thin air as the world started to reveal itself as just another run-of-the-mill isekai. I read the intro and realized I really wanted to watch this. I mean, yet another Isekai? Bring it on! I've always loved Isekai anime that don't fray too far into niche genres. This one had checked all the boxes.
Sadly, past the first two episodes, (heck, the second one wasn't too great either) the anime lost all of it's charm. It picked up the pace too fast.
