When I started watching Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, I wasn't sure whether I'd complete it as it was just a typical rom-com anime. But that's were I was totally wrong. Unlike other rom-coms, Kaichou is more dense. The character development is flawless (although I found the male protagonist too good to be alive). Each episode had something different which you would gladly look forward to watch. It's one of the perfect romance anime out there and the on screen time of both the male and female protagonists is taken with total delicacy, not ruining their individual charm as well.
