When you go into reading this one shot, you don't expect the emotions you are going to feel. From chapter one I was moved to tears, maybe because I relate to certain feelings or moments but I felt an overwhelming sense of sadness. The character who is Mariko Kikuchi, herself, creates this story of never feeling normal and isolated. It explores the tough realities and what people face. She does an amazing job and express her feelings in all the different areas of life as well as the people around her. The art is quite simple but it is still highly effective and really shows
