ao haru ride is your cliche highschool story of a boy and girl falling in love and the things that follow. but what sets it apart is the feelings of the characters, because it takes you to the setting and you relive your school days. the way the characters react to certain situations of a love triangle, of jealousy, of friendship and all those emotions you lived in high school, it shows them and you will enjoy it.

I watched this because I loved Clannad and Angel beats, so I already knew it is a tragic love story.
Within a first few episodes you can pretty much guess what will happen in the end, and though you feel pretty bad about it you will make up your mind and console your heart, but near the end you see a faint glimmer of hope and the end is again completely different, which is the most lovey thing about this anime. apart from the music and the story and the art, the anime is superb mainly because of the character developement. Plastic Memories story as a concept is very good. Overall the anime is fine but according to me it miserably fails at two points.
1) WEAK MAIN CHARACTERS-within the first few episodes you can guess very well what will happen in the end, but it would have been better if they had developed the main female character a bit better with a stronger resolve and attitude because the male character is also weak, thus both of them of the same type makes it a bit monotonic, one of them should have been an outspoken extrovert.
