Trigun Stampede (2023)
Always a good show when the forums are people justifying humans conducting slavery until death but then saying it is wrong if they are fought back against because they are just trying to SuRvIvE. Oh, it would be genocide against us but it is different against another species "because it is". This is great because the show provides much-needed conversation that isn't just like gun big, bum nice, why loli. As far as shows go, it tries to not do many of the generic things.
The story is good fun, has a nice pacing and is well-versed in Trigun history being a remake.

Let us take a moment to feel for Shou Iwaizumi. The second guy, the guy not looked at, the guy surrounded by more and more girls that show him no interest whatsoever. This guy has it hard and is going to suffer from this harem disguising itself as a rail anime. The rail side is always there but honestly, it's just a side feature for a load of thirsty girls doting on a guy who shows his vulnerabilities. The show also seems to make this guy a high school graduate who wants to be a driver the most unlucky guy ever to exist ...

I see what they wanted to do, a darker setting with a schoolgirl, fine. It was awful, it had no soul whatsoever and felt so rushed it may as well have not been produced. The art is fitting with its age and is pretty decent. The sound isn't bad either. The characters are soulless and have no meaning, it tries to cover so much so quickly that honestly, it sucked. If they didn't try to build the world and give it reason and just let it be action then it would have been fine, but this way made it a worthless ...

It's kind of a pain to watch and not as funny as I had hoped. What it is though is mega cringe. It's the creepiest cringe show I have watched in a long time. This is because only from what I see in the source material less than 30 of the girls are shown and this show has introduced 6 of them so far. Of the 6 we have a weird combination: - Hakari who is overly sexual with someone she met immediately goes for it. - Karane who is the most stereotypical Tsundere going. - Shizuka ...

A remake that was needed? no. A remake that is trying to set itself up as a serious? Not needed. This franchise has been done before and it was fine. The live-action films did what this couldn't. All this does is drag everything out in as long a format as it can. Whilst it was entertaining in some ways it also used a really stupid way for Kenshin to speak. Referring to himself in the third person repeatedly is not fun nor is it good to listen to. The characters are rushed yet the show takes ages to do anything. ...

Honestly, I have heard of this for a long time, seen the swimming clip before and oh my, it was fantastic. I even heard the dub was funnier than the sub and for once it actually was hilarious. It is on the dub level of Azur Lane for how funny it is, trust me. Now the show itself, honestly, reminds me a lot of the plot of how Pokemon works, going from town to town, small jobs, making friends, and leaving an impact. Hello World, much better than anticipated. I came here as usual by watching a short on a different platform and seeing the characters.
The movie doesn't need a massive review but what it does need is recognition for being deep. There are classics like 'Weathering with You', 'A Silent Voice' and 'Your Name' etc. This wants to be at their level, almost but not quite. It is a fantastic watch, it is also slightly rushed but equally any slower and it would have dragged. I know that is a contradiction but it is just that sort of movie. What's great? So a trope I honestly hate because it is so ridiculous. Wear a hoodie, change your hair, or put a tiny mask on and no one will recognise you, not even your own family. What a stupid trope to do honestly.
The show is overwise fun, nothing really happens since it is a slice of life for out-of-school or work moments primarily. The art is nice, fun, and clean. It holds up to a good standard. Sound is nothing special, it is just a standard show. Characters are fun, like I say the disguise thing seems really stupid. Overall, it is average.

One of these shows I kept putting off since season 1 and the OVA. Now the second season is done, I decided finally it is time to watch. What did I expect? Harem, Cringe, Awkwardness. What did I get? Not far over 5 years ago this must have still looked pretty old when it came out. Not the best animation style used here since it just feels dull. I get that it is a dark setting very dark things happening but still.
The story tries to give it a vibe but it is so detracted from the story it is just pointless honestly. They try giving you characters you can get on with then suddenly it stops and goes into a battle royale with more characters it gives flashbacks for which you just don't care about.
