Exceptional!! For the people who are reading this your probably sick of hearing this but i'll say it anyway. THE 1ST SEASON WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT, but to be expected! However it did serve its purpose... It introduced all the characters need to know and what the plot may include. However some people have expected something else, but I found it worth while to watch. The first season started slow that why people hate it.
However, if you are still deciding whether to go on and watch this season, I say go for it! You wont go wrong. The story has more depth, more violence, and
...
more exciting battles. Rikou gets trained, and grow stronger as the series progress. The only bad part about this season is that are a couple of "mainstream fillers." Like the episode about some of the Yokai's past, although it may serve the purpose of getting to know more about their character.. maybe to hint that something may happen to them in the near future or just to in depth our knowledge of them since they were there since season 1.
Also the producers seems to prolong the story and cramp a lot of info at the end (last 3 episodes)
With the ending provided, it is clearly stated that there will be a season 3! Looking forward to it.
Truth to be told, season one is indicated to aim for shoujo genre but maybe it didn't make the result the producers were hoping for thus the season season became to aim for shounen genre. Which thus made a bit hit! and I salute to those supported the decision!
If your looking for a similar series to this, I would recommend Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn. It is very similar to this series. Main character is weak and pathetic at first and then become stronger and cool. The outline for both stories are similar.
Overall, if you actually read my review, then my final thought are: this season is fantastic, if you haven't watched season one, it's okay! The two isn't really related very much, but to get more of a feel for the characters its recommended and hope you enjoyed as much as i did! Including the feeling of the opening of season 3!

Princess resurrection production is very similar to Full Metal Alchemist. Although the "parent story--anime" follows the story.. the random story of each episode has no connection what so ever to the next episode. Monsters show up and never appear again. Where the original story is creative but not as great as the manga intended it to be.
The story is alright, not too bad. bearable. The ova is way more interesting than the actual main stream anime. Although if Hiro the main male protagonist has some sort of power which allows him to actually save Hime, i think that would improve the story
...
and increase the poll numbers. But instead.. he can only take shots in the gut and die.
The artwork may not be up to par with the main anime because they tend to make the character's faces longer to try to produce a more mature face although it works for some character..
The art work for the main story is a lot "cuter" than the ova
Also.. in the main anime the producers tend tone down the violence. In the ova the artwork is almost exactly identical, where Hime gives her blood to Hiro to revive him and in the anime they use "Flame of Life"
The music in this ova is a lot better in my opinion. The OST in the battle scenes really suite the character's movements
In other word I liked the ova way better than the actual 25 eps anime.
Give it a try!
Ciao for now!~

So here we have a Typical Rom Com anime. You have you basic character types, a twist within the premise and a small hook to get you to try to look forward to a chance of a season two
Just like any other Rom Com you have the male and female protagonist who are also followed by a supporting main character who like to tease the main protagonists.
The storyline is alright and it was leading to a nice path but too bad they just ended wrong. Where in the opening you see Subaru running around the place, frantically looking for someone, which lead me to
...
a conclusion that in the last episode, something is going to happen to Jiro and things are going to get interesting. Too bad that wasn't the case. I'm pretty sure that somewhere along that line were two paths: One leading to my conclusion and the other is the conclusion the producers came up. That's because the author hasn't written a ending yet so the producers thought of this half-hearted ending for us viewers. What a great way to end with the final scene of subaru all dressed up thanking Jiro. I personally think the last episode is a ova but they included as one of the episode. Probably trying to tell us a message saying that there might be a season two, but don't get your hopes up to high.
Honesty this anime is too similar to other Rom Com like Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, except this time its about the butler not the princess herself.
Both anime is about a guy finds out about a idol's secret and promises to keep it. anime shows the adventure of their daily live from that point on.
Really it is pretty hard to rate a harem genre, since there is no standards to base it on. Liike some producers show you too much, some too less or show you some parts but not the ones your looking for and also like this one, just enough to make you continue.
The artwork is quite nice actually. The cuteness in the characters appearance really make this anime quite enjoyable to watch although the ending is a disappointment causing the viewers to think what was the whole point in this story??This style of art is very high quality animationstyle, it is very detailed and has smooth animations, as well as the creative character design is very appealing with their cute eyes which stands out a lot.
Overall.. give it a shot! The artworks is nice and the anime is one of the Classic Romantic Comedy where there's no point in the whole thing but its fun to watch the characters interact and see how the story progress. But let me lead you off with one thing: The ending may not be the best but i personally think episode 12 is the ending and they ended on a fine note.
Ciao for now~

This anime isn't really worth watching.. It pretty boring in it own sense. The main character is unique in its own way. The only thing that may be of some interest to some viewers is probably the artwork because it is a harem and ecchi anime.
This anime doesn't have a storyline. There is no hook for you to continue watching. It just an typical anime that takes about how the male protagonist lives his daily life as a talented novel writer. Just that fact may sparkle some interest and the fact that he specializes in writing not romance, drama or action... but in porno!
The art
...
is fair, they are drawn a bit childish which states that the ecchi scene are just for fun. They aren't to be taken seriously because the characters stripe voluntarily just for the hell of it. Although i comment nothing but negative here, this particular child-like yet high school students could be used in a different story to utilize the effectiveness. Just that the author is a little off.
The Sounds could be better where the Narukara, Fukune only play one tune on her clarinet. I the producers provided more variety then this anime may gain some more points. But in another sense, they did indeed place another music aspect into the anime.. the idol Sonokoe, Utae (yes her name translated into "this voice sing" ) i like her song those.. even though they are just made up and i couldn't find out if it is from an actual song or just made up on the spot.
Character wise let's simplify
Main male protagonist
Akutagawa, Taketo- Porno Novelist. His choice of words can literally get girls to experience a pseudo-orgasm... If he didn't pursue the genre of porno i think he got a real talent.
Kuroki, Kurumi: Chief of the schools newspaper.. not much to say, she seems like a very important person with two men in black always with her. She seems like a devil but really she's just bored
Meiki, Raika: Talent--Cameraman. she like to take "ugly" photos of people. The ugly side of human are her love for take photos.
Narukara, Fukune: talent--Clarinet.. Although that is her talent she only plays one tune throughout the whole story. She is a rather shy character
Sonokoe, Utae: Idol .. She a rather cute character i have to say. She sings in like 2 or 3 episode. She actually a nice person.. usually in other animes the so call school's idol have a rather ugly side to their cheerful personality but her character doesn't
Overall i wouldn't recommend watching.. unless your looking for a simply, random ecchi anime then enjoy. But ill say this i got through the whole anime thinking that something big is somehow going to wrap things up nicely and don't get me wrong, the producers did wrap the anime with the appropriate ending. What got me through is that for each character, the male character have some unqiue, and intriguing fantasy about each girl.

The first two episode can get you hooked but then later on you might realized that this is just like almost any other story. Guy meets supernatural girl.. his life takes a drastic change. Although in this story he has already met her in the past except that his memory got alter and later remember.
The story is decent, not to bad, but also not to good. Well considering it is a 12 episode anime, they did a fair job of introducing the story and the characters. Where in episode 12 everyone already can get the sense of the producing trying to embed
...
the intention of there being a second episode since nothing is really solve. I guess it get the viewers to look forward to the work.
The artwork is pretty amazing. I like the way each and every character is displayed consider the personalities and attitude where could be referred to or closely related to other character is other anime.(at least it reminded me of them) What I don't like to much is how the white spot moving around in Saitohimea's hair, they may represent stars and letting people subconsciously know that she isn't human and all but at points it gets distracting. One distinctive feature about the art is the tips of each character's hair is a different color or a darker shading.
Sounding wise is pretty decent, the opening and ending are not the best to suit the anime but not to the point where it doesn't fit at all. Also they used almost the same track for the whole thing.
The characters are pretty much stock character where you have the general stupid main protagonist who later thinks for himself and wow the audience, then the self-loathing, genius friend with his loli girl. The main heroine who is rather very affectionate to the male protagonist which i find difference but rather enjoyable to watch and of course the jealous childhood friend who later takes on the rather evil side of the story but finds light in the darkness.
Overall it a pretty good anime. The artwork is once again great. Story can get your irritated at time but this is an introduction to the anime, the main stuff comes in season 2 if there is one. And if your a fan of zombie, vampire and supernatural genres then this is a suggestion for you.
I'll end it off with a question: It still makes me wonder what does a rabbit has to do with this story, although they mentioned it in the last episode, and a displayed a hidden rabbit a few time. i don't get it.
