So when I started this anime I was like...this is weird. And honestly? That opinion did not change, BUT Sarazanmai is not JUST weird its funny, optimistic, and cute. I liked the main arch of the story with the kappa and otters that kept me entertained and the three boys and their desires. I also liked that the anime had LGBTQ+ characters and storylines that felt real and not just tossed in like many others.
The story is crazy, fun, and interesting. Like there is so much hilarious about this anime. Like BUTTS??? Yes, I said it BUTTS!
Overall, I was entertained and found myself smiling

This sequel to Kakegurui was a good continuation of the plot, but it left me wanting more. The anime had the same pace and plot as the first but added more characters that seemed lacking and 2D (haha).
I would say for anyone who did not like the first season, there are no giant surprises that will change your mind. As for those who did like the first season, it is quite similar. It has more different kinds of gambling and a new history for some characters which does add suspense. My rating is a 7 because it was overall pretty good, but did not leave ...

Porco Roso or Kurenai no Buta was a masterpiece. It was a beautiful story of a pig on a journey to finding his humanity and his will for being. With the help of an unlikely ally and an enemy American pilot, Marco the pig faces his true self and his past.
I loved the metaphors of the planes and Miyazaki's critique of war and human nature that is seen in many of his works. Aren't we all pigs in the end? With beautiful artwork that Miyazaki is known for and music that lights the heart, I recommend this movie for all! |
