When I First Heard Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei I Didn't Took It Seriously Until The Itself Got Surprisingly High Rating At The Time Of Its Finish. So When I Watched The I Fairly Enjoyed It Like I Watching SAO Or Rakudai Kishi No Cavalry But With Different Style Of Uniqueness.
Since This Is Adaptation Of LN I Wouldn't Compared It In Light Novel Point Of View. This Is My Point Of View:
The Story ? Well, I Found It PRETTY GOOD
*Well, The Story Centered In Two Protagonist Enrolling Same Magic School But With Very Different Degree Due To Entrance Results. At First,

I Found This Nothing Unique But As The Story Progressed I Realized There's More Complex Story Than Just Ordinary Lives Story Of Protagonist And I Pretty FASCINATED And CURIOUS About It.
*The Plot Pace However Can Make Some People Bored Because It's Pretty Damn SLOW But It's Okay For Me Because They MAKE UP For It In The Awesomeness Of Action Combat Scene And Brilliant Strategic Thinking Scene. History, The Governments, Magics, Socials, And Politics Were Explained In Great Detail Making Me Even More EXCITED With The World In Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei.
The Art ? I Think It Is EXCELLENT
Madhouse Has Done It Perfectly. The Animation Was EXCELLENT, The Movement Was Pretty AWESOME In Action Combat Scenes, The BG Was Also NICE. I Found The Character Design Was Pretty GOOD Too, They Designed It Not Too Excessive Or Not Too Bland. The School Uniform Was Also Pretty COOL Too.
The Sound ? Hmm.... Well I Think I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH IT.
The 1st And 2nd OP/ED Was NOT TOO BAD I Think And I Have No Problems With It (Even Though I Often Skipped It Both For Saving Time) The OST Is Also Pretty GOOD But Not Particularly SPECIAL For Me.
The Character ? I Think It's GREAT
*If You Know Kirito From SAO I Cannot Deny It That Shiba Tatsuya Has SAME Characteristic In Terms Of Overpowering Power As Kirito Did. But While Kirito Is Freeloader Type Personality Tatsuya Are Cool And Genius Type Personality. Some People May Brand Tatsuya As Siscon Type Since Tatsuya And His Sister Miyuki Has Harboring Love To Each Other More Than Anyone Else. I Think Tatsuya Is GREAT Character. He May Make You Confused At First Due To Complex Personality But Almost All His Action Was To Protect His Beloved Sister.
*Then We Have His Sister Shiba Miyuki. She Is Intelligent, Capable, Beautiful, And Sometimes Pretty Moe. She Always Very Obsessed With His Brother Tatsuya And Even Her Friends Calling It Lovey-Dovey Relationship Rather Than Familial Sibling Relationship. I Very Enjoyed It Watching Their Relationship. She Also Sometimes Jealous If She Seen Her Brother Dating, Charming, Or Blushing With Another Girls And I Found It Pretty Hilarious To Watch. While Some People Thinks Miyuki Is Pretty Annoying Or Bothersome But In My View Miyuki Pretty INTERESTING.
*The Supporting Characters Are Also Making Me INTERESTED About Them. Supporting Character Pretty Big Almost Equaling Shirobako's Side Charcters.
However, There Is One Supporting Character That Make Almost Have SAME STANDING As Main Character It's Name Is Mayumi Saegusa. She's The Only Person That I Very Remember The Most Due To Her Capability To Trolling Tatsuya To The Same Caliber He Troll Others And Her Affection Towards Tatsuya.
*While Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei Triumphs In Dodging The Cliche's Or Confusing Situation Unfortunately It FALL SHORT Of Expectation In Supporting Character Development. If Supporting Character Development And Plot Was Very Good Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei May Will Be In Top 5 In Spring 2014
The Enjoyment ? I ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH
Although At The Time I'm Hyped About Another MadHouse Project No Game No Life Which Released At The Same Time. But I Didn't Regret It Nor I Hate It , In Fact I Was Very Grateful The Decision To Watch Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei Proved To Be CORRECT One.
Overall Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei Is Very Good . Pretty Satisfying And Very Enjoying To Watch
