I started Bleach skeptically because the concept seemed poor to begin with but by episode 4 I was completely captivated. This is probably my favorite anime of all time its action is awesome, the story and plot are great. The characters are very well versed and help push the plot forward and there are many secrets to the story revealed later. Albeit the last few episodes are a let down, and if they continued with the current manga arc it would be magnificent. Alas it doesn't look like there will be another season but if you haven't watched Bleach you definitely should.
