Gamers! is one of the Animes released last year that I kind of cancelled out off my watchlist. I often see it here on MAL and on my several Anime communities including a Facebook Group which I am no longer a member of (whoever kicked me out of TGOOPH, your Mum's a hoe) and I get a good glimpse of what the Anime is about. What made me think it wasn't worth watching is because I am not a huge fan of Rom-Coms. Why? It's because most Rom-Coms only focus on the Romantic part and honestly, I have rather sophisticated standards when it comes to
...
Anime Comedy and I often end up disappointed on how other famous, mainstream RomComs deliver humour. So with that being said, I didn't think it was worth my precious time.
Days ago, I stumbled upon Gamers! again on a Telegram channel, and I thought there's nothing to lose if I give it a try so I went on and watched the first episode.
NOW. First episode gave off a full-blown stereotypical high school Rom-Com feel. I felt the *meh especially when a Blond Bishoujo appears before a mediocre-looking loser type MC. I was like;"Oh great, its a club thing. This shit is going to revolve around club activities and shit. Ugh." I was ready to kiss Gamers! ass goodbye once the first episode reaches conclusion but on the last parts of episode one― BOOM!
Okay, say all you want about how little that certain detail was but that was the part where it got me hooked!
The plot was kind of a joke, but for me, in a good way. In my opinion, the characters are what really gives life to this Anime in a general perspective. I like the fact that they're all fucking clueless and suspecting and I think its totally stupid and that's what makes it funny for me.
Okay so now, a lot of people are shitting on this Anime because it doesn't focus on the "Gaming" part and I can't help but roll my eyes over these comments like, does it really have to focus entirely on gaming just because the title is "Gamers!"? What a joke! It's all about a bunch of oblivious, Gamer-Otaku dimwits dealing with relationships. That's all. I think its actually fun that you don't get what you once expected from the Anime. If Animes always turned out to be how you wanted and expected it to be then where's the fun in that? You can't compare Gamers! to NGNL or SAO or Log Horizon or any other Anime that focuses entirely on gaming. It wasn't intended to be an Anime like those in the first place. That's all.
All in all, I gave it a 9 only because it was hella funny and I needed a cleanse after watching a shounen action-packed Anime. If you want a non-cheap laugh, this one's for you.

"Wow, okay. No wonder I still felt empty after watching the series. I thought something was missing but there's actually a sequel! Nice. Maybe I'm gonna find my closure after watching this." — Or so I thought.
The 12-episode series was a supposed to be a beautiful, heartwarming, tearjerker story— if there weren't huge-ass question marks all over it. So after finding out about the sequel I thought it was a dramatic touch, the answer to all the questions left by the series. It wasn't.
Instead of giving me answers, what it gave me was even bigger questions. And
...
what was once complicated is now even more complicated.
I've realized that watching KNK is like having sex, your partner is so close to hitting the right spot, it builds up and builds up but then you notice that it going nowhere so instead of having a good time, you just end up frustrated and thinking you never want to do this ever again. Did I and my review make sense? No? Well so did KYOUKAI NO KANATA!
"Maybe the story concluded this way because they intended to have another sequel?" — As of now, I couldn't care less. I feel trolled, honestly.
Overall: 3
Watch it or not, nobody really cares. Its your time that you're about to waste. At least you've been warned.

Okay fuck. I've heard about this Anime, all I knew at first was that its suppose to be a tear-jerker or something and that's it. So after several days of refraining from watching Anime (Its like a cleansed you know) I decided to check it out.
• First Impression: 9
I didn't do any background check before seeing KNK so I don't know what genre this is, or the synopsis or what studio produced this, but upon seeing it I was like "Yep. Yep, its KyoAni." The first episode gave me simultaneous WTF reactions because of the
...
refreshing twists even up to the end. And then you start to hear the bubbling sound of the ED theme "Daisy" by Stereo Dive Foundation which totally set my soul on fire. I am a fan of aesthetic, out-of-this-world visuals and the ED theme was like a cherry on top so I had high hopes after the first ep.
• Art: 10
There's no arguing that KyoAni really nails it when it comes to these elements. There's nothing for me to say. Its always whimsical.
• Characters: 9
Characters are lovely. KNK gives a refreshing mix of various characters, albeit the fact that some of them are stereotypical. I love the two perverts, especially Hiromi. MCs and SCs have their own struggles and interesting back stories, some surprises tend to unfold as the story progresses so when I got acquainted with everything about these said characters, its a lot easier to convince myself to keep on watching.
• Story: 3
I think the Creator? Writer? Director?— whoever the fuck is in charge of the story has perfectly established what "flow" he wants the viewers to go with. But then there's a lot of mysteries and questions that were left unanswered. There were also inconsistencies in minor details such as the relatively of the flashbacks to the present scenarios. So many things happened in the story that just suddenly came out of the blue without any given reason or explanation. That's what ruined this for me. I was like "What is happening? Is it the Anime or did I just become slow in picking up the story. Am I getting dumb because I took a break or what?". In the end, it wasn't me. (Thank God) It really was just the messed up plot.
• Overall: 5
It was half good and half bad. Sound is superb by the way. I like the SFX especially on scenes that look like some kind of horror film. And "Daisy" is really, really beautiful.
You should still watch it tho. I completely discourage the idea of not wanting to see the Anime after seeing other people's bad ratings. I hope this helped.

Kuzu no Honkai is the only manga I've completed with a fast pace. This is also the first revie that I'm going to publish for a Manga here in MAL because I cannot keep myself from shading my thoughts because this fucking manga has scarred me big time.
Character: 10
I love them and I hate them. I love Mugi and Hanabi and I just fucking shipped them throughout the whole time I was reading this Manga. I'll continue on shipping them till the day I return to dust but at the same time I also hated them occasionally for being so
...
fucked up and for being so stupid. I also hated Akane, that fucking slut. But when it came to the last chapters of the manga, I started to hate myself as well because I slowly sympathized her and came to "understand" her but I still feel conflicted about it but I just can't help it and the fact that Hanabi also said; Her confidence is flawless and I kind of want to have that typenof confidence too.
The rest of the characters were also far from being just mediocre side characters. Even they have fucked up mentalities and I think that's what makes this manga relatable and realistic because everyone of us is fucked up too. *Sobs*
Art: 8
The art is a fucking trap. At first it gives you the false impression of a Shoujo manga. Well Surprise MF! You could also prob feel turned on with all the bed scenes and shit but trust me it only lasts until you get to the middle because when you get there, no matter how hot the bed scenes are, all you're going to be able to say is "WTF R YOU GUYS DOING".
Story: 10
Like I said, at the end of every chapter you'll always have that WTF reaction but there's this certain urge inside you that wants to dig in deeper as the story progresses and you're gonna realize the author and her characters are slowly fucking up you brain but its probably too late to back out now so instead you embrace reading this sinful manga.
Overall its a 10. Even if the ending wasn't the conclusion I wanted it was what Mugi, Hanabi and I needed. Yes, I am now part of it. I can't help it. It's haunted me ever since.
Read it. Just read it. Stop looking at those reviews with a 7 below rating. Trust me. Let's all get fucked up by a fucking manga.
